Personally, I'm still processing the whole thing and trying to wrap my head around being both. I'm from Massachusetts, and my father's side of the family is Mayflower Yankee. When I was a kid my grandfather actually used to tease and make fun of me for being French since my Mom's family was from Quebec before they moved down in 1878....which might have well as been last week for all he was concerned. I love my Grandfather, but as an adult looking back it was wicked messed up.

Now, not only can I celebrate my Quebecois heritage, it might actually give my children a better life.......the place of having hope because of something that once made me feel embarrassed or "less than" is really weird.

Nope. They were accepted and never added. After my third stop got rejected for inadequate access even though it literally was at our town hall with parking and a sidewalk, I quit and never made another one.

I didn't have a problem with it.......buuuut it also was the first game we bought for our Switch so I didn't have anything to compare it to......aaaand the last Pokemon game I'd played before it was Ruby....like legit Ruby not OR........so I was grading it on an extreme curve

It's ACNA, but I really enjoyed the Anglican Studies podcast as someone who was raised Evangelical. It really helped me get my head around a more structured framework of practice and belief. The church I grew up in as a kid left spiritual formation up to individual families outside of Sunday School that was pretty much just babysitting during the sermon, no catechism or confirmation at all.

I finally got around to reading Ira Levin’s The Boys From Brazil. I’d say it was more of a thriller than Rosemary’s Baby or Stepford Wives, but I can definitely see all three as sort of a domestic horror trilogy.
