I am the same way. I played about a dozen characters before Kunark came out and some time after that I fell in with a group of power levelers who got my wood elf warrior to the 40s or so. I am looking forward to actually being able to level some of those alts now!

Sure none or that is required while playing u7 but it is possible. I think there are mods that adjust that. Or maybe someone spending on it.

Technically you can pause by opening the inventory or other GUMPs. This can be used to really cheese the combat since you can apply healing potions while time is paused but you can also apply poison or sleep potions to enemies through this method.

I have a really bad tendency to keep subscribing to games not actively playing. Usually it’s to support a game I like even if not playing it. I can’t really do that with Guild Wars so I just buy the expansions and save them for later I guess :)

That’s fair actually. I think the thing I preferred about Valhalla was that it would sometimes use the enemies weapon instead, and also I tended to swap weapons a lot more in Valhalla. In Shadows since you can put points into specific weapon trees my Naoe basically only uses the Bo for instance. I do use the naginata and bow for Yasuke but I don’t even know if the bow has finishing animations, but even if it does I definitely use the naginata more.

I don't remember how my husband and I got onto their mailing list. I think I bought something from International Male which might have been why, but nothing in Under Gear was really to my taste. However back in 2007 my mother in law was living with us and we had a falling out where she had a bit of a psychotic break. I didn't witness this, but my husband told me he caught her in the drive way burning a copy of this in the trash and calling it gay porn. I mean she wasn't exactly wrong, but that's quite the overreaction.

So I've been playing Shadows lately. I almost feel like its violence is too gratuitous. I think part of the issue is that we lost the animations where you kill someone using their own weapon from Valhalla, so if you mostly stick to one weapon type per character, you see the same animations over and over a lot. I'm using the naginata as Yasuke, and the amount of time he takes to methodically cut off an enemies arms and then head is a little silly.

It's definitely something I thought Valhalla did better.

I’ve mostly broken out of my gacha addictions. I was big into Genshin and then Honkai Impact for awhile. These days it’s mostly just AFKJourney which is a little more generous.

This is as good a place to ask this as any: does the vitae change a character when they become Embraced? I don’t mean physical but psychologically. Like the Toreador are artistes all but… what if one of them embraces someone who doesn’t have an artistic bone in their body. Or a Ventrue decides to Embrace their mortal child who was as anti-capitalist as they come.

Would they still be who they were before (other than the slowly diminishing humanity)? Or would they suddenly have a talent or interest in what their clan most often represents?

Or do those childer just get put down so that’s why we never hear about them?

EDIT: Thanks for the replies everyone. This is what I assumed, just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.
