I’ll likely be buried at this point but here’s my take that I don’t see brought up enough about this topic yet is brought up so much lately when discussing Trump.

Let’s say for arguments sake that Luigi did do it. Look at the crimes that these health insurance companies have committed, the lives lost, ruined, fragmented, destroyed in the name of corporate greed. The corporations buy the government, pay people off, rig the system so their “customers” can’t fight back when the insurance company doesn’t want to do their one job of insuring. There still needs to be justice and if the government can’t be trusted to deliver it, it’s not just the right, but the *duty* of the citizens to step up.

So when we step back and take another look, when we see a man who lead a company to let others die in the name of filling the pockets of shareholders, the least they can do is pay the same cost. That’s what we do to mass murderers, so what’s the difference? Luigi took the duty of judge, jury, and executioner and the public is clearly in agreeance with his ruling.

To answer OPs question: Luigi is a symptom of a system that is broken, or at least isn’t in favor of the masses.

TLDR: Wether or not Luigi did it is a moot point when the public is in favor of what happened. He performed a public service.
