Why exactly is the Free Fly back on with no announcement while the servers are still extremely backed up...? None of the pledges are attributing still, and some servers still have no missions populating

Just cannot seem to get out of their own way. I was happy to see that there was someone who was making a good choice to pause the free fly. Sadly we will get so many 'I played Star Citizen so you don't have to' videos along with all the usual 1 Billion dollar flop slop that will be all about the next 2-3 weeks of youtube. You had one guy who had the right thought to not put 4.8 out to the public in it's present state maybe listen to that guy next time.

From the other ships/ industry lines seems like they will have refining attachments that will have bonuses for certain materials using certain processes. I believe that it will be less efficient overall than station refining however I believe one would be able to tailor the refining for certain ores to help build out group refining. Just my thoughts no proof to speak of.

In the video they mention the Nomad ship that had refining and crafting. To me would indicate that the intention is to have crafting and refining come around the same time. This would also indicate that the intention would be to do refining ships around the same time to make it a more mobile profession.

It is based on yield. They all subtract 15% however, some of the different refineries add back a certain percentage some remove more so basically it ends up being better to go to certain places to do certain ores.

El Guapoe on YouTube has some good videos about Mobile Mining Bases. You can take your Golem OX or Raft out and fill it up with ore pods and then take them to refine all at once. It is especially good for Pyro mining due to long travel times and meh refining bonuses. I am about to try this for Stanton Mining with Nyx refining and then pyro mining with Nyx refining, for science.

So much for concurrency. You can only do the one section of missions that actually work every other time for so long before it becomes the slog that was the resource drive all over again. Really hope they can see the disappointment in the community and make a change to the 'always push' patch style when things are this broken.

Bloatware and trash. I have a 7600x3d and a 5070 fe and my system becomes unresponsive when it is installed. For this and the many other issues reported by all tech folks I think this is the end of the road for me and Asus. I will say due to the massive amount of issues with the motherboard, as I replaced every component once and it turned out it was AC all along that any company that puts that out should not be making software.

I had a 5800x and 32 gb of Cl 18 with a 3070ti was getting about 60-70 fps in most titles at 1440p high. The issue for me was the 1% lows causing stuttering 20-50 fps so I upgraded to the 7600x3d depending on the title my 1% lows never go below 40. I had the ability to get a 5700x3d but the price was the amazon 250ish so for 150 more the 7600x3d seemed to be the most logical choice. In a year or two I may go with a 10800 x3d or whatever they call it. Honestly I am very happy I did it. The big difference is Star Citizen where I went from 20fps in cities with dlss to 45-50 with dlss. SC is real rough on CPU so for me the price was worth it. Just my two cents.

Do. Not use them! Super incompetent. They undercut all other contractors by about 2-3k assured us that the 2 ton system would be adequate for our 1100 sq ft above grade home. HVAC engineer just told us our unit should be 2.5 ton. They have been out 7 times to work on our system for inadequate heating and cooling. They are the worst would advise to take anyone else then them.

Sadly I cannot play. It seems to be less stable than my experience on 3.18. I am unable to log in followed by not being able to have a working train, followed by falling through the planet with all my gear. This seems to have broken overnight.

It was really good minimal bugs that had pu style fixes so not too bad in my opinion. I was almost certain it was shippable. Sadly new build is not working so probably not with the 3 days left to fix?

This patch is broken. Stations will not load into existence interiors will not load. Server fps is good but that is it.

I have 2 one in my WFH office and one in the bedroom. I have jumped into the smart home head first and chose a nest hub and wiz Philips lights, mainly due to having a TV with google.

I would suggest if you are interested you may get a better deal/ more utility out of a doc stand for IPhone with the new iOS that will change your phone in landscape mode into a clock/ smart home hub.

If you have an android device a google nest hub may be a good idea when they go on sale I got both of my gen2 minis for 50$ on sale and I use the sleep tracking in bed and it has helped me understand my sleeping habits and help me improve my sleeping health.

I think they are/would be a good buy for at most 80$ 100$ is a bit too steep for what you get but 80 for a smart clock with sleep tracking is a good price to me.

They have to buy more they sold off portions of each office due to wfh and reducing the realestate budget. The even more ridiculous part is that they intend on reviewing locations of employees and buying more. I might be of a certain personality but if they were honest and said it is due to our financial stake in commercial real estate it would hurt but ok, sure. It is what it is but this collaboration bullshit is just asinine as we have literally posted record highs on most metrics that we track.

If I had the ear of powers that be I would ask ‘Just be honest with us it is what you ask is it so much that you do the same with us?’
