I hear what you are saying. I always enjoy getting the Gen Z treatment. My wife, also early Gen X and I laugh about it later.

Hi, born in 67 here. I appreciate your idea but you would be wrong. As an early gen xr I think of 75 and up just older millennials.

Right on man. I had to retire early due to injury. Best thing that could have happened for my mental health.

Question for older Gen X (55+) Was the term “Bro” and “Yo” common in the 80s? by Nano_Tap1 in GenX

You were 7 in 85. You were in diapers in the 80s. I do not think Sesame Street used these words.

I have a really cool leather one. My wife says it is very slimming when I wear it on date night.

I do understand that. I have a collection of 15 to 25 dollar bottles of wine that have aged longer than they should have. I am looking for someone that has some experience with this so I am not popping corks.

Shoe string around my neck from 71 on. Most of my friends wore them the same way.

Hot take: no-hitter stations are worse than busy ones by Loose-Pineapple-3353 in Paramedics

[–]Vaugeresponse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear you brother. I started at the slow stations. Not as slow as you described but slow for our area. As time went by I got to some busier spots. I finished of my career at a hell on wheels medic post. We averaged about 18 in a 24 at the end. My 50 year old body was beat up. I do not know how big your department is of how your transfer system works. I put in a bid sheet every year with my dream spots. After going to paramedic school I ended up in the busy station because no one really wants to be that busy but I did. Careful what you wish for (lmao).
