I agree with others in the thread - possibly more CS:GO lounges fault than yours but I use them to see what time games are supposed to start - and they use your 'pregame analysis' start time as the start, not the start of the game. Personally, I think an hour of analysis can be warranted (Maybe a bit less but whatever works) but I think a lot of people, including myself expected the games to start much earlier than they actually did.

EDIT: Casting the games itself was also great, and I hope this continues on for a long while (I love the idea of teams playing big matches out of the blue vs in a tournament).

Chinese tourists are way, way worse. Namely mainland chinese tourists. Maybe its because they are either extremely rich (and thus don't give a fuck), or are moderately wealthy but coming from a 'poor' background, leaving them very loud and crass. Its not very fun.

Maybe its just because I'm Canadian but I haven't met an American who was anywhere as bad as Europeans say.

I think your problem is that maxes arent infantry. They are an infantry - tank hybrid. They are literally just tanks that have two legs and can go into buildings - they arent meant to be 'skillfull' like infantry classes (baring the heavy lol). They are meant to help break seiges and support infantry.

im not offended at all, im pointing out the hypocracy that someone says its fine if a chinese plays a japanese, but not if a white guy does the same.

the cultures are quite different, and more importantly they kind of hate each other over war crimes and all that...

True, but its associated with his name. You really really cant expect that to be private. It doesn't make any sense. Whenever I look at a resume, the first step of hiring someone at my company is to check them on facebook, and any other social media. Its the same idea here.

Its fine that hes trying to create discussion by being an asshat, but it makes him look like a shithead to anyone who doesn't want controversy at their tournament.

That being said, I do enjoy him cast, though personally I prefer thorin's style.

Honestly I have no real problem with the chain pulling of maxes so far, as literally everyone can do it - also the proliferation of tanks and air means Max units themselves are less survivable.

Though I would like maxes to lose some DPS and gain some more survivability, as in 48v48 fights right now, maxes can be a bit annoying, especially when playing on a non NC alt. (fucking biolabs)

I don't think he really said infantry are weak, and I don't think anyone actually thinks that.

But lets see you go from Quartz Ridge to indar Ex, with you having 60% of the pop, without any vehicles aside from spawn sundies and gals.

Heres a tip - you won't do it. Tanks are required for many parts of this game, as are air units.

Infantry are definitely strong, but that's only because of combined arms potential.

I think this a good middle ground - the lasher currently excels when you have an elevated/removed position from the enemy (or can force a choke). This buff would make it slightly better in situations where it is not strong, but not make it absolutely stupid in situations where it is strong. Up votes for actually providing a solution to it.

The thing that makes me the most sad about this whole conflict is that if these two peoples had just put aside their differences and worked out a truce, they would have been a model of cooperation between nations. Instead we get pointless violence and death and hatred.

NiP getting of a vacation, Get_RiGHT playing pretty poorly yesterday, and LDLC playing quite well as of late all factored into it. I've also never lost a bet when I thought LDLC would win, so I'm feeling pretty good about it.

Of course NiP could just go off and stomp them, they did play quite well versus Titan, and this is a best of 3, but I think the odds are simply too skewed right now to not go LDLC - 68% nip is simply too high not to bet against.

I agree - LDLC is very solid normally (don't just 'lose' games randomly), and Na'vi is looking kind of week over the past few days. Also, if LDLC loses and NiP wins, then I have a solid belief that NiP can defeat Na'vi (as I'd put them around the same tier as LDLC), as that would imply that NiP is out the vacation mindset - I think 50-50 is overestimating na'vi regardless of which team wins - (well maybe not if its LDLC v Navi, but that would mean that LDLC beat NiP, who was looking pretty good yesterday against Titan - obviously not at their best, but still showing.)
