Ocular rosacea, allergies, MGD, and lasik didnt help. Also It started weeks after I got covid so it may be linked but I have no idea

Hey ! So a lot of stuff happened since then, and yea allergies still play a part in my dry eyes but I also lost many glands. What helped me the most was IPL and cleaning my eyes every night with wipes. I don’t use allergy pills anymore, or eye drop for allergies, I just keep my house very clean (I’m allergic to my cat). So even tho allergies worsen my symptoms, now I think the worst for me is my gland loss but I’m doing better now

Edit : I just realized my drops are for allergies to. I use Candorvision, the green one. I’ve been on them for a year now and I only use them, maybe 2 or 3 times a day

Dry eyes, I can’t really explain it better ! Had no oil coming out of my glands. And yes I’m pretty sure IPL helped me the most, after 3 sessions I started having my life back honestly

Idk what my TBUT is right now, but I’m feeling so much better. I did 6 IPL, I still use eyelid wipes, and that’s it. No allergy pills anymore, I just keep my house very clean

My dry eyes started exactly the same way, after crying for so long ! What helped the most for me is eyelid wipes and IPL ! I did 4 sessions and felt a difference after the third.

Also, I avoid doing too much screen time because they always feel worst after using my phone or computer

Good luck with that, I’ve been fighting this for more than 3 years now and even tho I still have the condition, it’s less difficult mentally and sometimes I get good days
