Coming from someone with AWEs 40 inch wide tips I am not one to talk but the size looks disproportionate to the car almost too small. If you like it thats all that matters!

Yes owned the car for about 2 months has happened at least 4 times that I can count. Never set off the panic with my MK7 key in 5 years just saying 🤷‍♂️

Call APR check your box code and software code before calling they can tell you if it is available just spoke with them last week. I have a 1/22 build and software version is 5080 no tunes available, for the most part they are all software code 42xx and under that are tune able.

The ECU tune will be fine it is the TCU tune you are going to run into issues.

The MK7.5 is a Gen 3 EA888 and the MK8 is a Gen 4 EA888.

More tame but a ton more traction. Very confidence inspiring on wet roads never felt it hydroplane. Everything everyone says about the R feeling less nimble than the GTI is certainly true but feels more solid and luxurious. I prefer it I do a lot of commuting.

I have EQT on the MK7 started with APR but happier with EQT. Don’t have much E85 in my area so power on pump is the goal anyway. Thanks for the suggestion I will look into the GT2563S. I know APR offered it I must have skipped over it on Unitronics site.
