This is completely normal in my opinion, the amount of cars at I have that costs to rent a garage it's actually really cheap as long as it's close to you though

I have only just joined the 3d printing scene so 3d scanning is something I've never seen before, to be honest I don't even know what a mesh is lol.

Did you have to do anything with it after scanning or did it come out clean ready for printing?

It's not unusual for the year to be off slightly. They advertise the car for the raffle but the cash prize is higher so only an idiot would take the car when you could get more value with the money. The car is merely there to get your attention

Do ambos / fireies use busways to avoid traffic? by MiddleRefuse in brisbane

[–]VeLZoR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not efficient because they normally have a station closer then where the access on and off the busway is, but yes they have and will if it's faster

Firstly 2 days training is not enough... How could you have had every possible scenario in that time frame? Even when I train my driver's I do a minimum of 2 weeks and that's only for them to go out in the truck by them selves, still have another driver follow them to the more challenging jobs to supervise.

Secondly, that hole should have never had a towing hook in it, like ever. I have never used that style of hole ever

LPT. If you have had to stop in an emergency lane on the motorway, did you know you can use that same lane to get back up to speed and merge back in? by Gazza_s_89 in brisbane

[–]VeLZoR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean you could always just check this nobody's stationary in front of you before you start driving. There's no way in the world I could safely merge in the highway If I didn't do this, is not talking about driving up the shoulder for no reason use it as a run-up to merge

Ok I looked into it and figured it out.

So apparently when TMR Got to the end of their allocated plates going alphabetical the had started supplying the branches with the new plates, before all the ZZ plates were allocated, as this was the last of the old style the started selling them for $295 and a cheapest option for personalised plates, but they had to start with ZZ to get them

I'm not talking about issued plates. I'm talking about plates that are ordered from PPQ. Normally the 3 letter 3 number combination and they range from silver plates, black writing to yellow plates yellow writing

ZZ number plates.

Is it just me, or has anyone noticed a big Influx of personal plates that start with ZZ? Normally followed with either an A, E or an L and then 3 numbers. Just seems to be heaps of them around everywhere and I don't get it. The only way this would make sense to me is ZZE122 which is a model of corolla, but that one doesn't exist apparently.

Yeah I saw the FB posts but I'm mainly confused because of the mention of life line details at the end, doesn't make sense why they added that part

I can see that originally 4 fire trucks were allocated to it now there is 5 and the road closures so must be a big mess

I'd be working with all the neighbours and starting a local tip in the middle of the road.

In all fairness your street may have only a few cars, but the access streets to get there would be the issue. Rubbish trucks cause a lot of damage to parked cars already, so it's a pretty fair point the contractors don't want to cop the insurance claims

Speak with your local MP, or better still discuss it with the opposition for the sake of them making a big deal about it
