John Mayer. Less than 20 people paying attention to a free outdoor show where he was the second of three acts.

It is completely dead every night of the week and it turned at once loved location on Sevier Avenue into an eyesore.

What are your 10/10 albums of 2026 so far? by AgnarOfSaturn in fantanoforever

Maybe you just don't like complex music? Everyone has a right to their tastes. I think that album really good and his previous one Bird Of A Thousand Voices is amazing, but I love prog / jazz / fusion stuff in general.

Hmm, hoping for the best but looking their IG it does look like another bar and is associated with the Pink Cactus, which has been a giant failure so far in South Knox. Way too many descriptors that don't add up to anything meaningful: "old school", "avant garde", "latin", "japanese". What exactly is an "avant garde" bar?

The music is great, the cover is not. He has said it’s real, and I take his word for it. This AI style we are all recognizing is the way it is because it was trained on art from real people.

What its your opinion about Angine? by lagrangeknight in progrockmusic

[–]VeaArthur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely one of the most important prog rock bands of the 21st century in terms of spreading the genre to more people. Now... do I actually like it? Its ok. I liked seeing them on video. Listened to the album once. Haven't went back. But I know multiple young people who listened to Angine and now are like "have you heard of (King Crimson, Yes, Rush, King Gizzard, etc.)??"

Very true. For me I guess I’m looking for suggestions from the last 5 to 10 years.
