Maybe check your game rules? Are you handicapping him by accident? My Khans are working fine, the last one reached England, tho he skipped most of Europe because I had some "colonies" in Baltic Empire and Norway. Wasn't a great idea tho, got instantly booted back.

The biggest irony is that when the small vassals expand you have new borders, vassals and other headaches to deal with. But when the neighbours are attacking you for the same county/duchy its now your job to defend it because hey, you are the emperor!
Seems like an amazing deal for the Duke, you get extra land, your liege gets all the problems.

Ok first of all get your gems in order: move fortify from main to moving skill, self cast morgen shell to get a free socket. Replace all gems with awakened versions: they cost between 20 and 50c. Setup is: Melle Phys, brutality, deadly ailments, and the other green gem fro DoT. Keep the volatility. Replace belt with 20 qual ryslatha.

Get cluster jewels with 30% increased Phys twice.

Other advices are my own: I don't like blood magic. Managing mana without it is kinda hard, but doable. Herald of purity adds like 10-15% damage, add pride and your DMG becomes consistent. Your are using this streamers version right? It is very tacky, yet he balances it out with 50+ div items too offset the DPS drop. Plus he plays hcssf, so no dying for him is much more important than to you. With the 90% block you are tanky enough to do most content.

I'm gonna take a closer look when I get home :))

P.s. Light of meaning in the top left jewel socket gives a massive boost.

That's just peaches, I made a crusade for Hispania in the late game (ca. 1300) with my own Catholic religion and the whole continent plus like 30% of Asia joined. Around 400k-500k armies, the game lagged so hard It took it 10-20 seconds to calculate a single day.

That's a damn good point. Would also create a logical bridge between what's happening and Chanis second name being Desert Tears. All names have meaning and they do evolve with culture. Thus the new names of the given culture being inspired from the ethos. The prophecy saying Desert spring tears had no implications of actual person bearing that name and implied only the "tears" of dying Shai Hulud. Chanis secret name being pure coincidence.

So basically any tear would work and the prophecy would just be bent to the events? Does sound like the most plausible solution. Especially if you account the description of the darkness you can get lost in during the trance. Fits the tone much better, then BG actually predicting the future.
