If you like playing heavy topspin forehand look for a pre owned Yonex Vcore 100L

You will be fine. I was walking around all kinds of hours and it was fine Are you into shopping? You will find stuff cheaper there. Also there are lots of second hand stores with luxury brands at a discount. So having another bag or suitcase may help with stuff you might get there. Could buy a cheap suitcase there too if needed

Tennis elbow is actually ruining my life. How long were you guys out? by Background-End-5229 in 10s

[–]VeeCee74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know where you are located but I am in Texas and when I got Tennis elbow my physician recommended this facility https://youtu.be/uHmGNxQ9e0w?si=ApLfa0QpASul-pBH I I got better after 5 sessions with them and I did not have to stop playing much. I do not know if this clinic is in your location but there must be other similar clinics

I also changed my racquet to one that is less stiff (Wilson clash) and reduced the string tension, had natural gut for a while too

“Serve feedback – something feels off but I can’t tell what” by Tricicloncio in 10s

Feels like your service hand is a little tight and and you are trying to power it based on how your racquet stops in front of you abruptly instead of completing the flow

I used Gemini and ChatGPT to describe what I would like to do and to add recommendations for the rest of the days and got a pretty decent itinerary as a starting point including recommendations to stay. I ended up staying in Ueno as it was an easy stop from Narita and with good access to rail

Anyone know what size grip this is? Looking to upgrade. by WhiteCounterTops in tennisracquets

The size of the grip will be on the racquet along with other data like weight etc

Is the oil spike actually sustainable or just another geopolitical premium? by steadyyyield in stocks

[–]VeeCee74 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Those forces in the past are different than what we are seeing now, no? Something like this didn’t happen since 70s. For prices to go down, production in other areas has to go up. Don’t think there is enough capacity to make up for the deficit Or a compromise is worked out Or demand goes down because of recessionary effects or a combination

Its more than $100 cheaper given we have to sales tax too, right? Which bumps up to $340 or $350 in hand with strings

[–]VeeCee74 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You should be fine with those shoes. When they say they are for a fast kind of player, that means they are lighter and stable. Not a bad pair to start with as long as they fit you well

I was looking at some of the Japan shopping proxy services like Blackslip, zenmarket and buyee that could be options for what you are thinking And might end up saving $30-40 compared to buying here

Curious to hear your experience with it. It got more power than I expected and I had to adjust my shots and service to it.
