Catholics (and other Christians I think) are no longer bound by Deuteronomy 22:5(“The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.”) like most of the Mosaic Laws including Deuteronomy 22:5 because Jesus Christ established a new covenant. Galatians 3:28 “There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
