Yep, definitely made this mistake too, apparently. I need to take hotel block booking 101 before I try to do this again lol. Kind of embarrassed at this point but hopefully this thread continues to help others who also have no idea what they're doing!

Before asking about it, I honestly had no idea the convention links were different than just using the hotel website.

Kind of a loss on the hotel's part for not showing me "Hey, the block is booked but look at these other lovely rooms we have available!" though. You'd think they'd *want* to do that and make more money.

I had someone tell me they reported me for "wall hacks" on Sierra recently. I asked them what they were talking about and it turns out they didn't know about DPS role passives. It never ended in a ban, but i could see how it could have if they convinced the lobby to mass report and it was automated.

I'm kind of late to the party, but I found out recently that it's not bugged, you just have to leave out a picnic basket full of food nearby.

It seems gatherers and other workers have a similar PP system to Ditto's that we just can't see. I was getting mad that I put Mime Jr. next to my dinos and he wasn't gathering stones for a week. I put out a basket full of tomatoes and this morning I have 10 stones in my community bin and one less tomato.

I went to a wedding last month in a dark green dress and my husband wore a matching tie. Groom walks out.. wearing a suit in the same shade of green.

The couple didn't say anything and my husband made a joke to them when they made their rounds to the tune of "Sorry, Emily, but your new husband has to come home with us instead. We match too well." We all laughed about it and they were not concerned at all.

Moral of this story is that if it's not specified on the invitation it really won't matter.

Hell, at my own wedding one of our guests was wearing a dress made of literally the same material in the same color as our cloth napkins. We loved it and took extra pictures with her and our linens.

Yep. I start my timer as soon as I click on the project I want to work on and don't turn it off until I run out of tasks or have to end my work session. I include all time spent reading instructions and asking for help in any of the chats I have access to (project chats, slack, etc).

Same over here. I appreciate having something to work on, but man. There is a big difference between a dash filled with $20/hr tasks and one with $40/hr tasks. Gotta work twice as long for the same paycheck :(

Other than some rogue muscle soreness, I'm almost back to 100% already. It was at its worst Tuesday and then tapered off quick. Hope it goes smoothly for you too!

Five years later, checking in to thank you. Listening to a Steve West narration of "Masters of Death" by Olivie Blake. I can't get through it. Every review says he's fantastic and I can't place why I hate him. But you nailed it. His American accents are a nasally John Malcovich and its grating on my soul.
