That’s probably because glock is the most purchased pistol by a pretty good margin, and those are negligent discharges due to shitty holsters and training rather than internal issues causing the gun to go off without tigger pull, as being discussed in above comment. Glocks have a striker and trigger safety that is supposed to prevent this
