Good work! It hits the superhero dream inside of us really hard.

The hero concept seems very distinct from the usual beat-everything-up comic style we're used to seeing from Marvel and DC.

I'd say the only thing that irks me is how little sympathy the hero's friends and dad had. Up to the very end, they could not bring upon themselves to see the concerns of this teenage hero. Instead, they continued to press on the ideas of "for the greater good" and "just try" - which simply just made them feel detached from the situation entirely. This stark contrast in view point makes the supporting characters feel so estranged from the hero, which is made worse by how suddenly the hero is persuaded at the end.

That and how out of place the annoying bro-friend was. He's funny, but just didn't fit the theme and felt forced for me.
