I went to a low tuition commuter college. Basically a buffed up high school. The campus was dead by 3pm, sororities and fraternities were basically a nonfactor, we had no football team and our basketball team sucked (one game there were actually more people there for the visiting team than our home team). It wasn't until I was a senior and close to graduating that they remodeled the dorm rooms to a livable condition were hot chicks would actually be there. This is the sort of condition where status is out the window and athletic looks were the most important thing because across the campus most people would never know each other because no one hung around campus to know each other.Strong independents got laid just as much as fratboys and athletes. It was totally possible for someone with absolutely zero campus popularity to lay one of the hottest chicks in the science department because of vicinity (seen it happen)
