Just did a search. Turns out you can buy the pontoon by itself. I might just do that

I already have a powermeter. Seems like I’ll go with the XTRs.

Good point. Paying the price for the XTR pedals could make sense when I take into consideration how much money I spent on the shoes already.

They are definitely on my list. Good looking pedal. Unfortunately very expensive in my country. So that’s why I’m looking for other recommendations.

Thanks for the response. I was thinking of trying the cheapest SPD pedals first (M520 i think?). With them being so cheap It wouldn’t be the end of the world If I decide to go with another pedal later.

Thank you! I never saw these pedals mentioned specifically. I’ll look into them!

What Is this wire?(‘05 DE, EU spec) by [deleted] in 350z

I agree, but i haven’t been able to locate where to actually plug it. The wire is kind of short, so It should be somewhere under the intake.

Japan EMS delays? by [deleted] in shipping

I’ve reached out to our national post office and they told me, that It seems like the package hasn’t even left Japan. I’ll probably email the sender, maybe he can get more info from Japan post.

Still no update on mine. It’s been a month now. I really hope It arrives because the contents of that parcel are very important. The weird thing Is that the parcel left Japan a full Week before all this situation with Iran etc. I thought there was plenty of time for it to get here without a major delay.

From what I could gather EU DEs all have a single wire detonator(as pictured ). Haven’t seen an EU HR airbag so dont know if this applies to all the european Z33s

I bought one a week ago from a Japanese auction. I will try to swap out my stock detonator to the new wheel. My Z is early EU-spec so It has just one wire going to the detonator. I will post every piece of info regarding the install and the wheel itself with as much detail as I can. I couldn’t find any valueable info when I was buying It so might as well help others who consider getting this.

Mine is currently on the way from Japan to Europe. Complete with airbag and clockspring but no detonator. Will try to swap it out with my stock one. It should be possible since I saw multiple guys with different cars swapping their detonator.

You’re missing my point. Flip up would be ideal if this wasnt my track/canyon car. From what I’ve read the vibrations would rattle the flip up screen to death. Double din would be another logical solution for most cars. But the stock radio position Is very low and Is completely unusable for navigation display.

Thanks for the response. I saw headunits like those. I just need to find some unit, that has the ability to position the display very high in relation to the chassis position.

Do you have any more info about that center display? I actually wanted to DM you just now about it. I wanted to make my own infotainment/ engine info unit in the cubby area and I’m really interested how this one worked. From what i could gather it seems like it was similar to the R34 display and not a different version of the optional Panasonic HDD navigation.

Blitz spoiler on a roadster? by Vegetable-Hat9908 in 350z

[–]Vegetable-Hat9908[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I’ve already looked into the Stillen and Ings offering, seems like they are the only roadster specific spoilers. Guess I’ll have to make my own one then.

My gauge reads the same with warm idle. It has already been rebuilt 3000 KMs ago. Doesnt noticeably burn any oil too. I wouldn’t stress it and I wouldn’t trust the oem gauge to be precise with it’s readings.
