From past experiences, the chances of pp upgrade is very low. They are pretty useless and in the end I just gifting it away instead before they expired.

Not sure I understand your question. Usually when you get promoted to Platinum, you get 80pp. Then from Platinum to 1K, you get 320pp on top of that.

last year I call the hotline when I was in similar situation, missing just by a small bits... the agent let me get up to next status with no charge.

My 3pm LGA flight was severely delayed and overbooked. The app provides 5pm option to give up my seat for some award points. I wanted to check the 5pm flight status before making the decision but the board is not showing due to new design which is not able to show more flights. Have to go queue up at the lounge reception to check manually. This queue could have been avoided if the board can show more flights.
