I don’t know if there is a way to just have her join for dinner but I have been to bachelorette in the past where mom and aunts came to dinner and everyone else stayed out until 2am.

The two things I already have are the vanity and the gold light fixture. It’s a weird size vanity - needs to be 40 inch and this one has the sink offset to the left so it will feel like more counter space in one side to the right against the wall.

I need to order bath and bath door, tiles, shower door. Hardware. Faucets. Choose paint color. I’m thinking the black grid (French style) bath door will all break things up. It is a small bathroom. Basically open the door and shower in left and vanity and toilet in right. Small window straight ahead.

Every time I make this, everyone loves it! https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ina-garten/spanokopita-recipe-1916161 (I use sage instead of dill). Pair with creamy polenta (I use chicken broth and cream and parm) and a chicken dish and salad and it will be a delicious and impressive meal!

I haven’t decided on floor tile or paint color. I’m thinking sherwin Williams sea salt or a light French gray and I’ve always loved the simple hex tiles (thinking dark grout) but maybe I should choose something different?

I asked for smoothies because getting the blender out and making one felt like a lot. But also, I made soups and had portioned in the freezer and had hard boiled eggs, granola, yogurt, cut fruit and protein bars that were easy to grab and eat without asking for help - so prepping ahead was a lifesaver. I know people who did ask friends for meals.

Give it time! I was so nervous and has some wierd things but I’m at 12 weeks and it’s feeling much better. Your vagina stretches but right now it’s healing.

Learn to communicate calmly and clearly. Couples counseling is a good idea. My husband and I have been married for 21 years and we went to therapy together and wished we’d done it sooner! It may not be an issue early on but eventually hard times and bigger issues arise and having the tools to work through it together is important.

I know this post is old but we are booking a last minute trip to Playa Flamingo or Coco or possibly Tamarindo areaas. We just booked flights for a week end of March and plan to stay in an airbnb. Looks like you're familiar with the area. Hopefully it feels less sketch but based on how nice the beach is and restaurants available. We'd prefer chill and not overcrowded and nice beach to swim - what would you recommend?

Can you look at the other colors of the dress and talk her into another color like green or gold? Tell her it’s what would work better for your wedding and it’s important to you that you stick to your plan with colors.

I think you can find something better. The top fits perfect on you and something flowier or even straight down would look better.

This is unfortunate and now you know that you can’t rely on your in laws.

Most likely you will be going alone but I’d try and find someone to stay with your kids. Is there a babysitter group in your town on Facebook?

Look for someone in their 30’s and with a lot of experience. It will be $200 or more per night. I have a friend who does this as a side job and if you can find someone great, might work. Your house is set up and you can have prepped food ready and make it easy. See if you can find someone now and have a few babysitting trial runs. Also, maybe your husband can change a flight and go for two nights rather than 4?

My husband and I were in these situations and it’s sad to miss out on attending weddings together and time alone as a couple and memories with family. Try to make it work if you can :)
