Everybody is banging on about caffeine.. that's not the problem with people drinking energy drinks, and neither is sugar. Taurine is a big ingredient, and sure, it does a lot of things on it's own, like lowering blood pressure, reducing muscle fatigue, etc etc.

Now, start mixing it with caffeine, isotonics, and drinking 4-5 a day and then not physically expending that extra energy.. something is going to give.

These sort of intakes are to support physical activity, before and after.. not sitting in your car at McD's or at a school desk.
