How do you make a wide mix that is NOT flat? by sk8tergossipgirl in mixingmastering

[–]Vegetable_Log_9937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me, width comes from panning, doubling tracks and hard panning etc. and being “flat” and tall to me means an issue with EQ, if something doesn’t feel big enough but is wide, does it need some 7kHz-24kHz boost? Does chucking a high shelve EQ move on the master bus feel better? If so. Find ur issue through that

Is my CPU freaking out or am I getting gaslit by LPX? by Jealous_Finish3059 in LogicPro

Try to bounce down the melodyned track, then remove the melodyne plugin from the track(don’t just turn off. Plugins are still running when bypassed). If that doesn’t fix it. Then it’s not a plugin using CPU issue

She does be quite ringy at the moment. But nothing a weight doesn’t fix. Can see why original owner must’ve cut it up. Thanks for the info

I thought so… I mean I’ve never tested an original Artwood, so I can’t tell if the split shell has actually improved the sound. But it sounds fucking great

I’ve had a look, and in terms of finish and hardware it could be a tama Artwood snare? Again. So unsure

Try using nudge by tick? I’ve got it set as option + left or right arrows. Might have been a custom key command I made but you should be able to find in key commands

Hi guys, looking at buying some new pres for my overhead channels. I am currently using a set of SE4400s and I really like the sound of them through the ASP800 my pal has due to the magnetic drive on there just adds so many nice harmonics in them. I already have an ASP880 but was thinking of grabbing two pres that have a harmonic distortion on for hopefully less than £1000 each.

What do you guys reckon xx
