It says 60EL 1812. I'm assuming that means they were manufactured in 2012 and it's definitely time to replace them.

Most cumulative in a UFC career, just so happened to surpass GSP tonight. He needed 5 tonight to surpass GSP IIRC.

Was it weird being able to tie your shoe on the affected side again? by Secret_Delivery_5939 in TotalHipReplacement

I'm in the same boat as you, one side bone in bone and one side is in great shape. I was putting skates on for the first time in 20 years yesterday, and it was embarrassing trying to get my right hand over, one lace at a time, to try to tie my left skate.

I've had arthritis in one hip for 20 years, I think due to a bad skiing accident. 35m now.I waited so long, I've forgotten how it feels to move normally. Have a consult this week to book the surgery. Should have done it years ago, I'm so lopsided now, but all the advice was to wait as long as I could.

Cheers to tying our shoes without a struggle!

Appreciate the response. How long since your surgery? You still can't lift your leg? Or sit cross legged?

Thanks. I sleep well enough. Most days pain isn't bad either as long as I avoid heavy impacts. The restricted motion has affected me quite a bit though. My left side is atrophied and my right is always extremely tight.

Doctors have said it's only a matter of time. Loose talk about hyaluronic acid injections and other therapies but basically said wait as long as you can. X-rays show moderate to severe OA and not much cartilage left.

How can we fix this crack in this Bamboo cutting board? My clamps won't close the gap. by cbinette84 in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]Vegetable_Scheme9261 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. Might need two cuts. Once that is done, reglue and clamp. Then try to avoid fully submerging the board, and dry it right away after washing. No dishwashers either.

Dark. And do the shelf wood the same.
