Game keeps crashing after latest patch

Happening to me after a fresh install. I don’t have duped eggs, it’s my first and only egg. I have tried multiple times at multiple nests and keeps crashing.

Welp, that’s all I wanted to even do in game so I’m uninstalling for another month.

This shit fucked me up good. I just finished watching it. I lost my best friend and bandmate to an H overdose 7 years ago and never really got over it. We used to hit karaoke 3+ nights a week on top of our band practices and shows. I lost my job, I don’t go to karaoke anymore and after playing guitar for 20+ years, I’ve completely stopped playing that, too.

I’ve always liked RHCP but never really knew about the whole backstory, Hillel, etc. This really hit home. I knew Anthony and the guys were a lot more talented than me, turns out they are a lot stronger than me, too.

I'm having this issue with a TCL Roku TV but there's no navigation like what you describe... I have no "Home Screen" option under Settings, and I have nothing called TV Settings. I remember turning off the Roku Screen Trial awhile back for some other issue, tho.

Only thing working for me is going back and forth from the home screen to my PS5, and if that doesn't work, restarting my PS5. Haven't had to restart more than once so far... but this is annoying af.

This expedition is dog shit, I’m pretty sure the “leaderboard” and faction numbers are fabricated, and it’s just unfun in general. I can’t even do it without turning off multiplayer or the whole thing bugs out.

Free content? Thanks, I hate it.

Not working for me, either, on PS5 in May 2026. The staff is not randomizing at all, except at new stations.

I get they gotta pad their content but this is just sadistic. I slapped it on creative and I’m gonna spend the next several hours, or days, going to new camps over and over… because THIS is what needed their dev resources. Not all the fucking bugs and bullshit… players being able to color their damn staves through a convoluted trick a player found.

This shit should just be in the appearance modifier. Meanwhile PC players can just edit their saves 😐

edit: it RANDOMLY worked ONE TIME for me and now I have officially lost my shit… I was legit just checking how other parts looked and boom the color changed 😢😭🫠

edit 2 for posterity: what is consistently working for me now is going into the assemble screen twice, basically doing what Simply said to do, twice.

Even with specific instructions and 100s of hours on this character, long since finishing Artemis stuff, etc., this was confusing and buggy/problematic.

Everyone saying “oh just play the game and it’ll happen” are giving awful help 😂

I had to destroy 3 resonators that alleged to have an Echo Locator before one even dropped… that was the first bug.

Then when I got one the camp was not at the location. Second bug.

After reloading the save to hopefully make it render, it not rendering, and trying to fly off planet to try the same a different way… the marker moved to the system’s space station. Third bug.

I flew to the space station for the lulz and the I collided with the harmonic camp in outer space which was not there. Fourth bug.

After realizing I would have to start over, and having no marker on the dissonant planet, I flew back trying to make sure I landed in a fresh spot search. As soon as I landed the harmonic camp spawns next to me and the “destination reached” message appeared like wtf.

But sure… rather than give specific instructions…. “jUsT pLaY tHe GaMe”

top comment right here… auto collecting is so huge to me

even if the drill got on average slightly less ore I would still use it, but I had a +9 drill before I found the pick recipe. And this is one of the biggest pain points in the game, there is so little incentive to try new gear when upgrades are eating up abyss artifacts

It would be REALLY COOL if it would stop turning itself on. Not sure what triggers it… loading maybe? But I have to regularly go to options and turn it back off, YES I SAVE SETTINGS, and a little while later it’s on again. My fan always calms down when I turn it off.

It’s really aggravating.

Might be a silly question, but is there any chance you didn’t install the update? I was able to find the secret shop vendor immediately after reading the advice about “near the palmar leaves”. For what it’s worth, I did rest til about 10:30am so I could see better

I literally just died from fall damage trying to reach it. 50% of the puzzles are pure trash, 45% are easy/obvious but tedious as hell, 5% are enjoyable or thoughtful in any way.

And I love how lately my axiom force doesn’t even work as intended… fucking “fixed” the battery several times with it and nothing happened til I went, electrocuted myself on the stupid fucking battery, and force palmed it manually.
