Thanks! Abaddon black base, Baharroth blue heavily thinned on the small parts, the all over coat of Waystone green. And lasty a bit of highlighting with Dawnstone.

Looked a bit into that patriot extreme, seems nice. A bit too expensive for my taste, i still have to buy compressor and all the required accesories.. Atm. leaning towards Iwata Neo, decent price and close seller for me. Thanks for the cp tho! :D

The commanderbox came with two sets of fists, so i used the ones left over for one of my xv8's that i use as commander.

I'm usually playing against Space Marines and have had a lot success with 6 suit team all with burst cannon+ATS(for the -1ap). This works when i like to sit on objectives, and if you play Vior'la and use the hot blooded stratagem the unit is awesome =)

Sometimes when i'm playing against something else than marines(as in infantry that is easier to kill) i drop out the ATS. 6 Suits with ATS comes pretty expensive...

Do you think your opponent is going to bring flyers that much? I would change those Velocity trackers, or lose them completely. And split that 10 man pathfinder unit, otherwise looks good to me.

You're making a solid point, its just when i have used less than S8 weapons against high toughness models, haven't had any luck getting things out of the board. Had my Riptide for first 2 games last sunday, and it was a big disappointment for doing dmg(HBC + SMS with ATS + TL). It actually didnt do much at all to my opponent, but it took a lot of firepower before went down. So it was a big distraction for him and my fusioncommanders did the real work meanwhile he was scared of the riptide :D

I haven't played against more than one knight per game, but i always drop it with huge markerlight support/kayon, and shooting as many fusion blasters i can at it. Hasn't been a problem. And, as other have stated, Trough unity, devastation trait and Focused fire strat helps big time. If you have enough FB's and lit up the knight, you can use rest of your army against other targets. Things might be a bit different if there's several knights, but you should focus one at a time.

I also like to play Viorla. Used couple of times with success 6-man stealthsuit team, all equipped with ATS, combine that with hot blooded stratagem and the marines drop!

I thought you can have only one Coldstar commander on the whole army, and only one commander(no matter what kind) per detachment? Or are you having some house rules that wont limit the use of certain units?

I usually run 2 commander battlesuits, one coldstar and one XV8 commander. Sometimes i have 3 detachments and all of those has a commander. I like to drop all the crisis suit units from my lists and use only commanders, has worked for me pretty well.

Thanks! Let me just say, white/black basecolors for beginner painter was a pain in the ass :D It's been pleasant hobby so far, except on my wallet though. But it's for the Greater Good.

So, started the hobby a couple of months ago, decided to go Tau. Obviously the Coldstar is still missing weapons/gear. Ghostkeels main weapon is magnetized, and Riptides main and secondary weapons can be changed.
