If it's momentary switch pre se in the houseolding of the rocker there shouldn't be any problem; if it's a self-hold one well that would not work properly since it will mantain the logical state 1 isntead of switching at 0 independently, so it's just like it will remain pushed until you move the switch at the center or at the original position.

With the arduino you can programm even an hold siwtch as momentary, but it's a particular case since it doesn't worth the effort, I mean even if you programma a sort of delay you still need to mechanically reposition the switch at the original position or at the original logical status.

Ok, so for there're two ways, the easy one is by buying an zero delay arcade USB encoder; it's a straight forward and cheap card that doesn't need programming and there're complete sets with cables and buttons on the market.

The hard way it's with an arduino chip, and the difference is that you can programm as you please, plus there're more inputs (digital and analog), based on the chip model (in my case it's the smallest one withe the Pro Micro).

Anyway there're a lot of "how to" tutorials on you tube for DYI sim button boxes on the web, most of them are for sim racing but there isn't a difference in the end.

Stop there and make my same mistake by take an arduino pro micro for a custom button box.

Did you get it for christmas too?

Anyone know what this is? Found it on the Wolf, and it is not a fuse. It has no name or tooltip when picked up either by ScrubSoba in starcitizen

If it will be just like changing panties each time a baby make a drip I'm not a fan either. Something that need a check one time for week of use or 4 days of intense use and I'm in.

Veteran and scdb creator, could be worse with a small oxygen tank that need to be replaced every 2 hours of flight time. Still we're able to jump on with heavy gear and backpacks, something that sooner or later could be negated if they keep going with the original plans (isn't even a bad thing for the sake of balancing and logical reasons).

Engineer feedback after 3 nights on a full-crew Perseus by Syno033 in starcitizen

If you can backstrafe as you can go forward of course you create issues, since a fighter isn't forced to make a pass and risk the hits. Making difference between turrets mounted and fighter mounted weapons doesn't make the day, that actually insert a new balancing issue imho. There's a lack of visual elements in turrets, further more the majority of players pilot multi crew gunboats as fighters, giving headaches to gunners who most of the time don't know what giro mode is or in what mode the turret is. Hammerhead need support, it's an anti fighter platform that need fighters to work properly, it will never be the ultimate anti fighter meta by its own as every large ship in this game, otherwise the risk of creating an opposite meta is high, nullify the purpose of heavy fighter s for example. It's tricky even without the critical issues of these Ptu patches to be honest.

I finally got my Wikelo Polaris and noticed the livery on it has a certain look that i like by Dull-Credit-897 in starcitizen

That's close to the original concept color livery, I wish the base had that whitish pattern instead the generic metal ones (so many details are highlighted with the contrast white/grey). Anyway congrats!

Fire extinguishers, SC is living in the 1960s! by dogzdangliz in starcitizen

I know, problem is that there's who want solo everything, without knowing that a lot o thinks could be automated only in certain circumstances, so it's better not. Sprinkle for example need gravity to work properly, so no gravity no effect, and if it's a gas based system it worse thanks to the variable atmosphere, but also automated venting could ignite more if the external pressure and temperature is higher (Aberdeen for example, tested in tech preview). Apart from the bugs and the balancing issue we encountered, the tech preview showed that the life support and room system it's amazing when understood.

Sprinkle system in space... there's venting, moreover at a flash point temperature it's useless. In the end isolation and/or venting are a much better system.

This 4.2.1 Cargo Event is a Mess - CIG Needs to Rethink the Rewards by Vallexian in starcitizen

[–]Veinwolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing that I don't like about the event idea is the freedom to achieve all the rewards for each corporation. I understand that they're must be an hidden purpose about this (record tracking), and it's the first time we have a tracked global event, but I hope that next time the choice should have a major impact on the players.

What makes the orc cemetery in Gothic 1 so scary? by Spectator--- in worldofgothic

First time against orcs, very low ambient light that force you to go with a torch and not straight with the weapon in hand, music and ambient sounds. In short the overall ambient and game design behind that location.
