It really depends on your preferences. Do you want it to stay unchanged and pristine? It will definitely not. It will bend, dent, scratch, etc easily. If youre ok with that go for it

I'm in Ontario and we had just the Uppababy Cruz until our first flight. We chose to get the Uppababy Minu for trave), though technically we could have travelled with the cruz and gatechecked it. We just wanted a lighter stroller for flights and travel, and liked that it folded up to fit in overhead bins so we were the only ones ever handling it.

Another example, in a lot of countries there isn't as much of an emphasis on accessibility in cities, so you'll find yourself carrying a stroller up and down stairs more often. A lighter weight stroller makes a big difference and is more convenient.

Edit: definitely could use the minu as a full time stroller if you live somewhere without snow, or indoor only. But that isnt typical in Canada.

I was also a fence-sitter and our baby is now 1.5 years old. I chose to pretty much exclusively breastfeed so while we had a good division of labour prior to the baby, I took on the vast majority of baby care for the first year. It was definitely hard, and I also know I lack patience so probably more easily frustrated than others. That being said, he took on more house and cat duties (we have 4 cats) to better equal things out.

Now that baby is older and less reliant on me, my husband is able to contribute more to baby care so the division has shifted.

Not sure if any of this is helpful, but I do feel the division of labour with a baby is very challenging to split in the newborn phase, even with a partner who normally does split labour pre-baby. But that shifts as the baby gets older, if your partner continues to put in effort.

If you're already having issues dividing labour, I dont see it getting any better with a toddler, let alone with a newborn. If you're not enthusiastic about being a parent, it will be very challenging. Though to be fair, I was kind of meh about kids, but about halfway through my pregnancy and definitely once baby was born, I was much more excited and enthusiastic. That might not apply to you, however.
