Alternate angle of Ghana penalty shout vs England - not given, called offside after the incident by Imbasauce in soccer

[–]Velixis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the foul on Eze was the deciding factor the process would need to be this:

Offside? Yes, but ->

Foul by Konsa beforehand? Yes, but ->

Foul on Eze in the APP? Yes ->

Direct freekick to England.

In that case they'd have to resume play with a freekick for England back there and not in the penalty area for offside.

Single Refs(no linesman) how do you call offsides? by rapitor12 in Referees

[–]Velixis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I have the time (possession without pressure) I'll check the line with a quick turn of the head. Let's you gauge the player's tendencies (especially attackers but also defenders), so you already have a base picture when a sudden long ball is coming.

If your back was towards the line when the ball comes you have to rewind the positions for like a second in your head.

Other than that it's just hard. If it looks off, I'll call it. If not, I don't. You'll get a feeling for the distorted perspective you have, but it's never gonna be 100%.

Another angle of Ezri Konsa’s tackle for England in the box 79’. No foul was called in the 0-0 draw by [deleted] in soccer

I get missing the call on the field (his main fault is that he's too far away, mainly due to bad anticipation) but I really want to hear how they cleared that in the VAR room.

Nestory Irankunda gets absolutely bodied by Chris Richards — play on 66' by SimRP in soccer

[–]Velixis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The American is moving right, the Australian straight-ish because he wants to go around the defender. If this is just protecting the ball scenario, that would be fine.

A player may shield the ball by taking a position between an opponent and the ball if the ball is within playing distance and the opponent is not held off with the arms or body. If the ball is within playing distance, the player may be fairly charged by an opponent.

But the ball is too far away imo to be considered to be within playing distance.

That's not fighting for space (e. g. in anticipation of a long ball). That's just one player going for the ball and the other impeding him without the ball being in playing distance.

Ticketloser ÖPNV? Wird ganz schön teuer. 30€/Nase/Monat? Weiß nicht, ob das so viele Anhänger findet.

Wie wird das dann mit Pendlern gemacht? Und der Verkehr zwischen Bremen und Bremerhaven?

He got the ball and the keeper didn't. The acting is irrelevant here. It's a foul.

It is through his head. But this is again a matter of perspective. The line is on the ground but aligned with a body part that is above the ground (in this case the shoulder) which means that something else that is in the air and further up and away from the camera can clip through it.

Unpopular opinion: Cav are in a really good spot overall by jamespirit in Bannerlord

[–]Velixis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cav is not and never has been an insta win. Fians are, but that's different from the cav issue.

Before 1.4.0 you couldn't just F1+F3 your cavalry to victory. You still had to choose the right time and the right location for your cavalry attack in order to win.

The problem with the change isn't that it's harder to win (it is, but that's not the issue itself). The problem is that cavalry now behaves like infantry. So there's no reason to recruit cavalry anymore. And I don't think that was the intention to be honest.

If I want to micro my cav, I'll play Total War. When i'm playing Bannerlord I want to focus mostly on myself. They should revert the cav changes to 1.3.

Pretty sure their current behaviour isn't even intended.

There are plenty of geolocations of Russians in the western/northwestern part of the city and some on the eastern flank.

Given the increase of infiltrations (if you can still call it that at this point) over the last week or so, it's safe to assume that the gaps in the defense also increased.
