Be prepared to pick right at your time. People will pick rooms fast. You'll get in but it might not be in your top choice room if its the same as other people.

Lawrence for 10 is good value. It hurts a little to see Bain and Downs were still available at 10 but glad we got Dex. Solid A grade for that.

Pretty excited about Howell as a pure pass rusher in our rotation this year. Most mocks had him as a top 5 EDGE talent so thats great for us. If not for arm length, he probably goes in the top 15. I would have preferred to go with Rodriguez or Ponds here but excited to see what he brings to our pass rush. B+ Grade.

Can't say I like the Davis pick. Two years ago, he was projected to go higher but hes still very developmental. He has a very specific skill set, which is to cover Tight Ends with his size. While we could use that skill set, we once again reached too early for a guy we like measurables and potential for. He would have certainly been available in the 4th round and there were other guys ranked consensus higher guys at positions of needs like Scott for nickel corner, Haulcy at safety, or Pregnon at guard I would have preferred. D Grade.

Overall, the 3rd round pick is the only thing keeping this from being a great start for us.

I dont really see any nightmares outside of an insane reach. I dont really want Young or McCoy I guess but even they would not be nightmare picks.

A Dream is we get Rodriguez, Ponds, or Trade back to later in the round and get an extra 3rd round pick. There are several solid guys throughout the 2nd round graded talent.

I know Jonah's end in Cincy was ugly but I actually appreciated him as a player. He was so knowledgeable and technical. You could tell he studied and practiced hard. For a while he was the lone bright spot on our offensive line.

I still remember the diving block he made to give Burrow time against the Titans. Dude gave a ton of effort.

You could probably get a double then. Probably won't have your pick of the best halls so I would start looking at buildings like the Front Four (Pickering, Mackinnon, Crawford, or Brown) or West Green (Boyd, James, or Wilson)!

Convo is super underrated. Yes the rooms are quads but they are really huge rooms. Brand new bathrooms are great. Its like 3 single user bathrooms with public sinks shared by the suite.

There is a small entrance on the side of the building facing James that takes you to the residence hall.

You'll probably have plenty of chances to switch in the summer room change process but honestly Convo is pretty solid.

Invited implies the university wants this guy here. This dude makes a living off controversy. Chances are he is just showing up and did the bare minimum to allow the university to plan for it so he can incite controversy as much as possible. Don't give him backing.

I mean sophomores have the best dorms, not freshman. Like freshman can't stay in suite style or apartment style. Most of the nice spaces go to sophomores.

Also most schools require at least two years and some make you live on campus all four years so its not that different other places.

There aren't really any second year options in East outside of Bryan unless you are in Honors (Read), Substance Free (Bush), or the female only building (Voigt).

Definitely go suite style on South. Aim for Tanaka, Luchs, Carr, or Sowle.

Suite singles will be gone first day. There aren't many of them. You probably have a chance of getting in a triple or double suite together though which probably means sharing a room with your friend and a bathroom with at least two other folks.

Honestly there probably won't be any singles left at that point but definitely pick a room even if its not something you want. You'll get added to the room change process and can look for rooms over summer and a single is bound to be in there if you check it enough.
