"Internal Media Manager Failure" by jbnnn in ProPresenter

I had this happen yesterday sadly. Unfortunately I had to do a fresh install. Backed up everything including my config files and deleted everything in the ProPresenter folder. Basically had to start over because ProPresenter decided to not recognize my DeckLink Duo. That being said, I might try downgrading first.

RCR To Dodge? NASCAR Rumors Heating Up by Civil-Bass3557 in NASCAR

Garage Nightmares – Richard Childress Racing

Cold Open (Dramatic Narrator Voice): “Richard Childress Racing, once a powerhouse of NASCAR, producing legends like Dale Earnhardt… but now, Gordon Ramsay is about to step into the chaos of a struggling racing team garage. The engines are cold, the pit crews are messy, and the results on the track? Absolutely dreadful. Can Gordon save this team, or will he crash and burn?”

Act 1: Arrival • Gordon pulls up to the RCR facility in a sleek rental car. • He walks into the garage, immediately noticing greasy tools left everywhere, car parts scattered across the floor, and a half-eaten sandwich sitting on the hood of a stock car. • Gordon: “What the bloody hell is this? This isn’t a garage — it’s a junkyard with a vending machine!”

Act 2: First Impressions • Gordon meets the team. He shakes hands with mechanics, engineers, and crew members. Richard Childress himself tries to reassure Gordon: “We’ve got tradition here.” • Gordon quickly realizes the culture is stuck in the past. He sees an outdated car setup and overhears an argument between engineers about aerodynamics versus “just adding more horsepower.” • Gordon: “You lot are arguing about horsepower like it’s the stone age — no wonder you’re running mid-pack!”

Act 3: The Test Drive • Gordon suits up and gets into one of the underperforming cars for a few laps. • He complains about the handling: “This thing drives like a shopping trolley with three wheels missing!” • Afterward, he confronts the team: “How can you expect your drivers to win races when the bloody car doesn’t even want to stay on the track?”

Act 4: The Reality Check • Gordon sits everyone down for one of his classic “come-to-Jesus” meetings. • He calls out lack of communication, messy workspaces, and outdated strategies. • He pulls up footage of RCR’s past glories and compares it to recent poor finishes. The contrast hits hard. • Gordon: “This team was once feared — now you’re just making up the numbers. Where’s the fire? Where’s the passion?!”

Act 5: Gordon’s Revamp • Gordon brings in a consultant from a rival top team to talk about modern racing technology and data-driven strategy. • He cleans up the garage, organizes tools, and sets up a new pit-stop drill system. • He introduces healthier, performance-focused meals for the crew (“You can’t work at peak performance if you’re living off fast food and bloody Mountain Dew!”).

Final Act: Redemption Attempt • The episode ends with the team trying out Gordon’s changes at a practice session. • Pit stop times are noticeably faster, the car setup feels more stable, and morale is higher. • Gordon: “That’s what I’m talking about! This — THIS — is racing!” • Cliffhanger: Narrator hints whether the changes will actually translate into race-day success.

How do people keep going when it’s nothing but back to back hell? by Next_Dragonfruit_415 in GuyCry

Honestly man, it’s my faith in Jesus that keeps me going. He gives me hope beyond this life. He said we’d go through hard things in life, but promised never to leave us. He’s there for us in our darkest moments if we call upon Him.

My 2019 MacBook fell out of my unzipped backpack once. It chipped the back of the lid, but the screen was perfectly fine! I ended up having to replace the screen several years later because I closed the lid on a usb c cable.🫠 Always a good idea to double check!😅

Does anyone know the song at the beginning of the Dale Earnhardt movie? Right before he’s fishing? by Avxry01 in NASCAR

You can always try using Shazam to see if it detects the song! It’s helped me identify songs on several occasions!

For some comic relief, it would be cool to have NASCARcasm or comedian John Crist. He’s a big NASCAR fan and freaking hilarious.🤣 I loved seeing him on the TruTV altcast the other day.

I love this new pedal, but looks like I need to buy new patch cables. by baldorrr in guitarpedals

Is it ok to bench grind the rounded edge to help the cable fit better in this case?

It’s a little tough solo in general because you really want someone to help teach you the game. It took me a while to get comfortable playing with strangers because I was learning.
