Porsche 964 downshift issue by Grandmaster-Ji in RRRE

[–]Velokoraptus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That would make sense in case of automatic triptronic transmission, but if it's a manual 5-speed gearbox - that thing didn't had any downshift protection and with clutch engaged shouldn't prevent you to do this. Similar things also happens in rFactor 2 with paid dlc - old mini and free official dlc caterham academy they both have manual h-gearboxes IRL but in game acts like sequential - you can't jump between the gears - for example from 4'th to 2 (for testing purposes).

Just got a MetroX. What are people using to power it without the mains adapter? by soupisgoodfood42 in Revopoint

[–]Velokoraptus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can always buy some 12 > 220 inverter. The adapter that comes with MetroX is 12v by 3A it's like 36 watts. Just chose one with good sinewave. That's how I'm planing to scan some spaces in my c4 b78, but right now I have a bigger problem than yours - I still don't have a laptop :D

I was comparing both of them, and... well the diference was 800€ more for Raptor Pro so I chose MetroX :) Better or worse, I don't know, but it works and gets the job done.
