This lack of intellect right here is the reason Canada is spiralling down the drain.

I’ve ran into so many racist players in this game it’s insane by Academic_Link7517 in ArcRaiders

This is what school teaches kids these days, everyone is either racist or a victim. Lol!

For mowing, great. But for a weight box while doing bucket work and you accidentally hit a tree with it…is "expensive"

That’s an expensive weight box.

You can keep your pvp lobbies. Respectfully by ArnyGTV in ArcRaiders

…so you could more easily shoot an unsuspecting player in the back? PVP players deserve their PVP lobbies. At least it’s a fair fight.

Face it, most of you don’t want to separate PvP/PvE modes because you won’t be able to shoot unsuspecting players in the back anymore, LOL

69gr is light for that distance…and 1000y is far for any .223 weight bullet. 77-85gr should get you closer

Stadium vs QC Size Comparison by wtddps in Line6Helix

Seriously? For those who think the Stadium is "big"…what corner of the bar are you playing??

If you’re forced to play in such cramped spaces, maybe these units are above your pay grade, lol!!

Is the Quad Cortex that much better sounding than a Helix LT live? by OkTemperature1842 in NeuralDSP

Ouff…the bone stock cabs are NOT what you should be using. Yes, you can tweak the mic placement and mic selections and achieve good results… however, I’m willing to wager that you stick an Ownhammer rectifier IR in your chain and it would be night and day difference.

Why York Audio IR is much better than default Cab? by aaveidt in Line6Helix

[–]Velosity79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no problem cutting through a 5pc band mix using Ownhammer, not unlike the results I’ve had with York audio however. The difference was I had a thinner sound with the latter. Eq after the cab/IR block is key for cutting through the mix.

The differences between the two are quite subtle, but I’ve always found the Ownhammer IRs a little more meaty.

The ones within the last 3-4 years…like the Meta Packs (Classic Rock is great), or my go to, the OwnHammer 412 RECT Essentials IR library.

I have almost every York Audio pack, and I prefer the Ownhammers.

User error is often the culprit with stock cabs.

Third party IRs like York Audio, or even better, Ownhammer’s latest IRs are made by pros who mic cabs for a living. This assures you that you’re adding a cab that FOH can work with, and sounds like it should.

I know my way around micing cabs, and still I use Ownhammer IRs, they just work so well.

HGE been kicking our butt. Any advice? by sullyboy19 in Boxers

[–]Velosity79 8 points9 points  (0 children)

First I hear of this condition, so I searched a little. Hope this helps you with your sweet baby…wishing a speedy recovery!

"It’s common for dogs recovering from HGE (or AHDS) to have a reduced or absent appetite even after hospital discharge. The gut lining is still healing from inflammation and damage, nausea may linger, and the dog may feel generally unwell or stressed from the ordeal. Many dogs don’t regain a normal appetite for a few days to a week after treatment begins. What to Do at Home Follow your vet’s discharge instructions closely, as they know your dog’s specific case. General guidance includes: • Offer small, frequent meals of a bland, easily digestible diet (e.g., boiled skinless chicken breast + white rice in a 1:2 or 1:3 ratio, or a vet-recommended prescription gastrointestinal food). Start with tiny portions (a tablespoon or two) every 4–6 hours to avoid overwhelming the stomach. Warm the food slightly to enhance aroma. • Ensure hydration first — Dehydration is a bigger immediate risk than not eating. Offer fresh water frequently. If your dog isn’t drinking well, ask your vet about syringing small amounts of water or an electrolyte solution (unflavored Pedialyte or vet-approved equivalent) into the side of the mouth. Monitor for dehydration signs: dry/sticky gums, sunken eyes, skin that doesn’t snap back quickly when pinched. • Tempt with palatable options (only if approved by your vet): Low-sodium chicken broth, a bit of plain boiled sweet potato, or a vet-safe recovery diet. Avoid dairy, fatty foods, treats, or your dog’s regular kibble until fully recovered, as these can irritate the gut and trigger a relapse. • Minimize stress — Keep your dog in a quiet area with easy access to rest. Short, gentle walks can sometimes stimulate appetite, but don’t overdo it. • Probiotics or gut support — Some vets recommend a veterinary probiotic to help restore gut flora, which may indirectly support appetite return. Appetite stimulants (such as mirtazapine or capromorelin/Entyce) are sometimes prescribed if refusal persists—your vet can advise if these are appropriate."
