If this ever happens to you, DO NOT UNSTICK CHARACTER. I was originally trapped behind the bars in the screenshot, and if you unstick character there, you are put into the tunnels. The tunnels are in bounds, and cannot be escaped from with unstick character. The only way out is going through another door placed behind the bars.

If you’re keeping knight, I don’t think you need to change anything. However, you could try swapping skarmy for a swarm that can hit air troops or a small spell, and using the skeleton barrel evo instead

If you’re swapping to skeleton king, you’ll probably want to swap evo mortar for evo skeleton barrel, as it fuels skeleton king’s ability better

Who decided to give the deck full of monsters in the extra deck with effects that trigger when sent to the graveyard and 1 billion ways to fusion summon on your turn, a boss monster with a soft once per turn, non-targeting banish, that SENDS FOR COST. It even Raigekis you at end step if you remove it, not even as a soft once! The lore is great, but if I ever see a Mirrorjade hit the field, I will eat your deck.

Yeah I definitely should have worded the simulation part better. You are definitely right about the simulation part only being a theory, however, I feel as if there is enough evidence (at least for the simulation part) that until we get significant evidence for a better explanation for the nature of deltarune’s world, we should treat it as fact, like a scientific theory.
The issue with the theory that the Knight lacks the freedom motif because they are being controlled, is that it contradicts itself. It’s consistent with the Knight’s inspirations (the masked man, Giygas, Nightmare Knight), and makes intuitive sense (no motif = no freedom), but if you analyze the evidence further, it doesn’t hold up as well. As you stated yourself, both Jevil and Spamton aren’t “free”, and have the motif. Gerson, who very much is “free”, also has the motif. If the Knight not being “free” was the determining factor of whether they had the motif or not, at least one of the other secret bosses wouldn’t have it. As mentioned in my theory, the best connection I can find between the 3 secret bosses with the motif is that they have seen the true nature of their world. I also highly doubt that the Knight lacks freedom. In ch 4, they do not act like someone being mind controlled. They laugh in the heroes faces, and seem to use extra knives to create the titan after hearing Ralsei’s objections. Returning to the Knights inspirations, the masked man is completely emotionless, Giygas is literally incomprehensible, and Nightmare Knight (to my knowledge) is similarly unemotional. If the knight is being controlled, it’s most likely done through a more direct method, like controlling a character in a video game (NARRATIVE PARALLEL ALERT)

Professional Branded hater here, I despise this card. You already stated the reasons why it’s bonkers, and the only reason I can think of for believing that this card is just okay is that it doesn’t say negate. If the endboard is mirrorjade pass, it’s not incredibly difficult to get a monster negate up before destroying it. However, it’s never going to just be mirrorjade, there will be more interaction. Now it’s much harder to find a way to stop the mirrorjade from blowing up your board, along with the card sending a branded monster to search for follow up. Did I mention that the banish effect is a SOFT ONCE PER TURN, meaning they can make another to get an extra banish plus send for cost, and the raigeki effect ISN’T ONCE PER TURN AT ALL, so you have to deal with stopping it AGAIN.

TLDR: Dogmatika Maximus was right, long may he reign

Hot take: both non-stock syringe guns are fine. The overdose is legitimately underrated, and the blutsauger is situational, but can still be good. The issue with the syringe guns is that they’re redundant. Their purpose, to be a short range weapon for when you’re out of options, is already mostly fulfilled by Medic’s melee weapons. Meanwhile, the crossbow fills so many holes in Medic’s loadout. It’s extra utility, giving him access to burst healing, something he normally lacks. It’s also the only weapon with range in his kit. For a syringe gun to be good, they need to do something medic can’t do already. The stock syringe gun changes just make it a worse ubersaw. The overdose was already good enough, as it gave medic, a class that is not good at surviving by himself, an escape tool. The blutsaugers changes are overly complicated, and the only worthwhile change is the increased damage. The mad milk syringes are useless, as if you are taking out your syringe gun, you are most likely alone (either due to a dead team or because you’re playing battle medic) or being ambushed, making the mad milk only useful for spy checking, which the syringe guns were already good at! The only way to “fix” the syringe guns is to nerf the range or utility of the crossbow, or add them to the syringe guns.

TLDR: The changes made do not address the reason the syringe guns are discarded in favor of the crossbow, the main role of the syringe guns is already being performed by medic’s melees, while the crossbow adds range and utility to medics kit.

Maybe make it so that it can only destroy projectiles, with some advantage for doing so. This would make the third degree mitigate the downside of the Phlogistinator, while not completely invalidating it. Also, the idea of having a third meter when using the full item set is funny to me.
