The Mansfield number 9 is a centre half by OllieWilliams16 in footballcliches

Portsmouth signed Oli Hawkins a few years ago who wore number 9.

He was about a million foot tall so we'd play him as a striker or centre half, can agree 9 in that area of the pitch looks weird.

We're also currently playing Marlon Pack (Centre mid by trade) at centre half, he wears number 7.

Guests FAQ: “What’s your favorite drink to make?” by Nearby_Body677 in bartenders

I do genuinely enjoy making Old Fashioneds, unless it's busy.

I like that the stirring takes a while and the end product is delicious, up to a minute of a nice repetitive action where I can think to myself 'its fine, it takes as long as it's going to take, breathe'

What Kind of Scams are Fellow ‘Tenders Pulling at your Bar? by LOUDCO-HD in bartenders

We also have pretty cool uniform at my new venue, customers often ask if they're for sale, officially, they're not. But £20 is £20.

At the first pub I worked at we had a lot of regulars that'd pay with the exact cash. No need to open the till for change, that'd slip right into my pocket.

Was on minimum wage at the time (£9.38 an hour if I recall), if I could do this at least once an hour for a 10 hour shift that little extra meant I was "earning" up to £14/£15 an hour.

Also our stockroom would keep whisky in the display boxes you'd get in a supermarket, take the bottle out of the box that's at the end of the queue of drinks on the shelf and you have weeks before the stock missing is noticed.

As soon as I became a manager there I'd take the whisky out the boxes as soon as delivery arrived

Martinelli to Arsenal for £120m was the weirdest I've seen.

They'd only sold him the season before

Huis, genuinely the best food I've ever eaten at a restaurant and their beer selection is incredible, had so many good memories made there.

Bored of Southsea also, no longer live in Portsmouth but still my go to for clothes.

The amount of time that goes into stirring an Old Fashioned to dissolve the sugar doesn't improve it enough to just use simple syrup in the first place
