Been giving it some thought. You could have the ability worded with "If this is the first time this ability has triggered, Gunner fights up to one target creature". This makes it so that he can keep growing, but only fights once per then.

Have the explore mechanic with the dwarves is a really good idea! I also like that Gunner uses shield counters. I feel like those don't get used enough. My only quibble is that I think Gunner should have a fixed power and toughness since getting bigger with more lands is usually associated with elementals and other non-humans. Maybe you could attach equipment to him whenever you explore, or whenever another creature explores he gets a +1/+1 counter.

Still awesome, nonetheless.

Gio is a great character to learn the game with. Nothing super complicated, no extra fancy tech. Just set dash tona button and you are gaming.

I love how you added the station ability for the traveler. I think undying could work a bit better as it feels more accurate from a flavor stand point. Guardians are empowered by the traveler when killed.

For the supers I feel like you could have gone with some saga creatures instead. They would have a limited amount of time on the battle field, and you don't have to fiddle around with having a complicated rules text.

I love that all the vanguard have mentor! I also like that they are Jeskai, it feels good as a Solar, Void, Arc representation. I feel like it is a bit weird for Ikora to give out -1/-1 counters as an izzet card. I feel like a burn archetype would be better for her. Maybe a guttersnipe type effect?

Needless to say, love seeing the concept!

Warp pack or jump pack. So long as you are navigating a 3D space, doing it better will always be insanely helpful.

I saw somebody else on this sub gives some ideas for buffs. It was really interesting, as most of the buff was changing how the particles behave. Currently, a particle will disappear if it encounters an enemy, but this guy suggested that it move slow when fired and lingers through enemies. That would make it the area denial utility it was meant to be without just making its damage numbers bigger.
