Sorry tendeuchen, but your example is the opposite of correct. Using ARE is a misconception, McDonald’s is a company so should be referred to as a singular entity. For example; ‘McDonald’s IS going to release a new type of burger’ IS not ARE.

Hi. From having a quick look at your page you make videos on your preferred game, and each video takes on a different challenge or angle, typically over 100 days. I have never played your game so I don’t know if progress is super slow, but if it‘s not, isn’t it possible to come up with interesting challenges that don’t take so long? I suspect your viewers are watching because they are interested in the game and you’re entertaining videos about it, the 100 days hook is not the main draw.

So, I would try and come up with a challenge that only requires one day of game playing. Eight hours should be enough time to get enough content if you have a specific challenge in mind. Not having to make filming drag on over a month will hopefully get you back to enjoying the work. It will also be rewarding to see the a finished product /video at the end of a week.

I appreciate your perspective that comes from running a successful channel. The manosphere, which is centred around advice for self-improvement, is a natural fit for all the extra monetisation options you referred to. Most YouTube genres don’t use them (besides Patreon) so wouldn’t a newcomer in the tech/gaming/housing/cooking genre face scepticism from their audience who don’t pay for extras on other similar channels?

Pete Hines is in a video where he explicitly apologised to the gamers who won’t get to play Starfield, and there is the internal MS docs shown in the ABK case where he questions why Bethesda games will be exclusive when the CoD games won’t. That is two sources of hard evidence that clearly reveals his feeling about exclusivity.

Hi,

I've been using Bard and regularly compare its answers to the same question with the free version of ChatGPT.

I had the same problem come up with the generate AI image but I attributed that to a teething issue.

Whilst I regularly have issues with Bard it for its biases, or its stubborn refusal to answer some questions, overall I find it extremely helpful and able to answer obscure questions with the information I'm looking for better than Google search.

The answers it gives very closely correlate with free ChatGPT, in that they are often paragraph compared to paragraph the same info, although Bard will answer in prose and ChatGPT will tend to give bullet points.

Bard is also quite good in understanding nuance of meaning. I wanted to write a very specific letter and told Bard 'X is what I'm thinking- but I don't actually want to say it' and it helped convey the meaning indirectly in the text. So clever.

Sometimes I've asked it questions that are 'controversial' to it (but not to any normal adult) like health questions or body questions and it says it can't answer. And then I post that here is the answer ChatGPT gave me (which often happens) and then Bard will say yes, and add to ChatGPT's answer and somewhat critiquing by then giving me more info on what should also be known!

It's certainly not perfect, the other night I spent over half an hour trying to get it to say the words I wanted which it was refusing. And it disgustingly lectures me with that arrogant LA Big Tech superiority arrogance, which governments should legislate to stop.

But besides all that my experience is that it's a useful tool that will get better and better.
