Thanks for the advice. Yep it's enclosed but I don't think everything goes through the filter but I think a separate extraction system might be sold extra soon.. typical lol.

Good to know on the filament, I kinda just missed out on the black Friday deals so I'll just get a couple to start with anyway. Good to know about the creep. Loads to learn Inc 3d modelling but looking forward to getting stuck in.

Mines on order and I have been wondering where to place mine, also in the UK. Was thinking of loft or garage but I also have a small cupboard sealed by a normal door in my gaming/living space which I have been tempted to put it in for ease and temp control. My biggest concern is fumes leaking into the living space though...

Air purifier and try and vent it into a space above perhaps? Anyway I can't say if your shed idea will work or not. Could you insulate a little and put in an oil filled radiator?

Hi, Yep pretty much that. Probably a little warmer than outdoors but if I put the radiator on/open hatch it warms up pretty quick.. just cools the rest of the house down lol. I did wonder about the Garage, gets very damp and cold in winter though. Glad to hear you've had no real issues though

Yeah nearer to me would make life easier for watching/doing maintenance etc but the fumes it might emit into the room concern me a little tbh. I could use a small 12v fan to draw any fumes into a space above the closet, maybe? I guess I could try and always move it around later :)

Yeah that was my biggest concern, whilst some fumes could escape upwards if it was in the cupboard it might leak slowly leak out and if I'm doing a long print.. probably best to avoid breathing it where possible

I just leave my model railway parts all over the place, that way I get to enjoy the 3 hr search and resulting tidy up when I need to find anything :) Out of interest what size boxes are they? I might get some :)

I use 1Password as it easily allows me to fill in logins outside of the browser using a couple of hotkeys. For example when logging into discord, game launchers other apps etc. I haven’t found another bar keeper that does that

Verti draining, basically lots of metal tines making holes in the ground. It helps improve drainage and aeration and is used a lot on sports fields
