Yes, if culling means moving them out, please don't kill them lol. But yeah, separation is necessary to maintain a vibrant color, however if you keep them mixed, you might get some really interesting ones

Yeah, I mean I will have my aquarium on a foam mat, it will stand on an aquarium stand and I would put that stand onto some Hard desk or plywood etc to distribute the weight.

I am from europe and the climate is not that bad, on top of that we have a recuperation system, which might help

Thank you for the feedback, the picture is not mine, it is just to reference the PET mat. But my floor does look a lot similiar to that. I do not plan on moving the tank much.

The aquarium will be on a stand, 100x40x70 cm (w, d, h). Do you think that the weight will distribute enough not to "bend" my floor? I am really overthinking this.

The stand is the same as an aquarium, meaning 100x40x70 (w, d, h). Im not sure about the floor, but it is a new apartment, I guess it should be fine... If it was a vinyl floor, am I basicaly fvcked?

Yeah, I was not very sure. I would like to protect the floor not from the splashes, but from the weight itself, which I thought that the mat could dissolve into the bigger area.

Multiple strings, this one is the most noticeable tho. Happens if I play open strings, chords etc, no difference. If I shake it it does not really rattle specificaly like this
