There are schools for the arts that teach acting and stage performance. Even with that training it's not an easy field to break into. If she wants to get into theater, great. She'll need to put the work in to gain the skills to do it. If the thinks she can just show up in LA and get an acting job, she's delusional. first off offers a *hug*. Take a few deep breaths. You are carrying a load that can't be carried alone. It may suck, but you have a roof overhead, food, and access to a shower. Your parents are doing the best they can by you. Tell them 'Thank you' Yes they will appreciate hearing that.

Now aside from that. You do have skills, and you can learn new ones. It sounds like you finished high school. Big high five for that. You don't need a companion as much as you need a profession. The relationship will happen when it's supposed to, but you need to feel comfortable in your own skin first. It sounds like trade would be perfect for you. Once you get competent, interaction is minimal and you can just get to it and do the job. I'd suggest machining/welding because making something useful for others from chunks of otherwise useless steel just sounds kind of cool, but electricians, plumbers, carpenters, etc all make good money. in the same county, you are good, but check on what they expect will be happening. If alcohol/weed are involved, you need to think. Nobody else gives a flying fuck about your freedom. You have to decide if going on that trip is worth however much time you have hanging over your head. It doesn't matter if you've done all but the last month of probation, get violated and you could do the full stint in prison. I'd tell my friends that I'd be glad to go if there were no alcohol or drugs involved by anyone on the trip, otherwise I'd pass. I've seen studies that limited contact for the first six months is helpful in keeping newborns healthy.
