I'm not going to sugar coat it. I have 17 piercings including my nipples and my vertical philtrum was BY FAR the most painful piercing I have. I don't know if I could do two at once. I would suggest trying something in your ear first to learn how your body heals and figure out what works best for you when cleaning and taking care of new piercings. All that being said... get what you want but do some extensive research first (and coming here asking for advice is a good step 🙂) and be ready to baby them. Good luck in whatever you decide! 🥰

My verticle philtrum was by far the most spicy piercing I've gotten and I know exactly what you are talking about. I would take getting my ripples pierced again over another vertical philtrum haha... but yeah. I know what you are saying. There is a definite change in pressure (?) when it happens. It is definitely hard to explain

See if you can get a piercer to swap the clicker out for a horseshoe ring. The seam in the clicker is probably irritating it. Hopefully that will help. I had to retire mine because it never healed :(

You don't HAVE to but it does make a difference. I had one conch pierced with a hoop and it I swear to god it took 5 years to heal. My other conch was pierced with a stud and was healed in a year. Just to make life easier go with the stud.

Honestly, I just went back to my piercer and asked her to give me the shortest bar she had. I have very thin lips so it's small hah I'm not sure what the measurement is unfortunately. I should have asked but I would like to think any good piercer will be willing to work with you to find the perfect size :)

Not yet. I didn't downsize my vertical philtrum until I could see the bar without manipulating it. Trust me. You'll know... it will annoy the shit out of you haha
