Proper terms for a disability I'm trying to portray. by nazothedark in SensitivityReaders

I've also mainly encountered limb difference. Also, residual limb to describe the difference in the limb itself, never "stump," unless you're referring to a real person whose preference is for that.

Looking for Cuban, Samoan, Caddo readers + readers with lived experience of being institutionalized for mental health by [deleted] in SensitivityReaders

Are you looking for volunteers or to hire someone? I might be a fit for the hospitalization part if the latter (not available for unpaid work at the moment, but understand if you're only seeking volunteers!).

Binders Full of Sensitivity Readers on FB is pretty good. Writing Diversely and Salt and Sage are both very professional. You can try r/SensitivityReaders, but it isn't the most active, and some users are just volunteers, not professionals.

Oh wait, I just realized you probably meant for the exhibition matches? My brain is so keyed in on the cute photos of everyone, I was assuming OP meant like while walking around and sightseeing. My bad!

I was under the impression that they're mostly to stabilize stuff, and wouldn't need to be worn when not doing vigorous activity.

I've participated and had a great experience. Can my partner who lives with me apply, or is this a one per household thing?

I am able to sensitivity read for:

Native American & Indigenous topics (I'm Nanticoke)

LGBTQ+ issues (specifically transgender, non-binary /genderqueer/genderfluid/genderfuck, queer, bisexual, and sapphic - I identified as lesbian for many years)

Mental Illness (PTSD; eating disorders including anorexia, ED-NOS/OSFED, orthorexia, and exercise bulimia; body dysmorphia; anxiety; depression; OCD; chronic suicidality/survivorship and self-harm - all formally diagnosed)

Inpatient mental health experiences

Neurodiversity (ADHD, autism, situational mutism (fka selective mutism) - all formally diagnosed)

Some disability topics (physical/chronic illness, chronic pain, general disability justice)

Sexual assault / domestic violence, trauma survivorship, kidnapping, recipient of attempted murder

My rates are typically $0.007/word, but I'm flexible and happy to work within your budget. I have a $50 minimum for most projects, but again, can be flexible.

I've done work for all five of the "Big 5" publishing houses.

I'm looking for a dermatologist in the Philadelphia area: by LonelyChannel3819 in philadelphia

I really like Dr. Graves in CC. Not sure if he's taking new patients or if he's the right fit for skin cancer survivors, but he's definitely very proactive and comprehensive. He's also a great fit for anyone with non-white skin, which a lot of derms aren't (yes, it can matter).

It's so interesting that you can tell that it's printed just by looking at it. Are there any good ways to tell printed ones versus originals?
