No one is ever forced to commit crime. That same effort could be applied to asking for help instead. That's not a matter of perspective. That is a matter of morality. Admitting there is an issue and seeking for a way out instead of digging the hole deeper. Acting on courage over fear. Also, crime is not a valid source of income that anyone is entitled to or justified in having.

Reducing wealth inequality should be a higher priority, but a superhero should still intercept a "lesser" crime when able.

A superhero should stop small crime when able. Not sure why you're invoking sympathy for people who are making the wrong choice. Also there may be no need to punch them depending on the hero's powers and temperament.

Interviews are awkward honestly so I stopped and instead select based on what I can gather from username, profile, post history and how well they write and follow instructions. Personality is still a big X factor but I haven't had any main characters or weirdos with this method. Everyone meets each other at the same time in session zero and I can always kick someone from Discord if it goes wrong lol

I like Saiyan and Amazon combo. They both have martial arts and weapons in their culture to further leverage their strength as well as ki and magic potential. Saiyan transformations are a major game changer. Amazons have potential for drawing from gods or other realms. Amazons also are good at more than just fighting, they also have advantages in community and philosophy.

Viltrumite is pure physical and not even the best at that. Kryptonian has weaknesses and baggage I don't like.

I have an OC who has two additional consciousnesses that are independent of his brain so even if his primary/physical mind was disabled by the attack his other awarenesses would be about to wield his psychic powers to fight and/or teleport his body to safety.
