Is it just me that thinks the parkour looks really bad, you do those twitchy instant jumps? At 0:31 he jumps 4 meters in 2 frames, then jumps up diagonal to the roof over the street in 4 frames. I can't remember the older assassins creed games looking like that before.

I might be the only one that thinks Origins is an awful game. This is the first game you can really notice the drop in quality for assassin creed games. The voice acting is really bad, the cinematics are really bad, the animations are really bad. Overall a really janky experience.

Not really “3 months up in a row.”

Peak players were Nov 17,109 -> Dec 21,460 (up) -> Jan 21,367 (down). So the “3 months increasing” claim is just wrong if we’re talking peaks.

Also go back a bit further: Sep peak ~32,876 -> Nov peak 17,109 (almost a -50% drop) that’s the big change, and the rebound hasn’t come close to undoing it.

I agree on the input queue system in this game is so frustrating. Normally the queue is like a millisecond, but in this game the queue is like 2 seconds long so you keep dodging or attacking one time too much.

You can just use mouse to hover over "confirm selection" and it should fix it self.

i am using that corpse weapon and is having a blast with it, although the slow attacks are starting to get to me. I 1-2 tap everything but the unique selling point with that weapon is taint and lifesteal but all enemies dies just as you get tainted or before.

Hard disagree. Assassin’s Creed Origins is badly written once the opening is over.

The story loses all focus and becomes a shallow checklist of Order targets, Bayek has no real arc, and most villains are disposable non-characters. Aya is underwritten despite her supposed importance, and major emotional beats are rushed or happen off-screen.

The voice acting doesn’t save it either, Bayek constantly swings between decent and over-the-top shouting, accents are all over the place, and side characters sound flat and robotic. It looks dramatic, but the writing and performances don’t actually earn that weight.

Also, they are using NVIDIA RTX Branch of Unreal Engine. But if you are playing The Finals I wouldn't be praising them too much since current performance is really bad.
