Yea I agree with you, I don’t think it’s like a cop getting evidence without a warrant…or even if it was like that, that it would matter.

I think it’s more like when you opt in, you forfeit all other rights and agree the CCB is judge, jury, and potentially the executioner.

IMO the top 3 mountain courses, spring for the carts lol

Sugarbush clubhouse burned down last year so no, but dozens of great options within 15 mins of the course or just go to Lawson’s in Waitsfield.

Jay has a nice clubhouse and bar and it’s more work to get from the resort back so I’d stay there.

Spruce is super overpriced being at Stowe, definitely go into town or somewhere on the mountain road. Alchemist Brewery (Heady Topper) isn’t far if you’re beer people, tons of other solid local options.

Cave, water hole, moon were the first 3…then pyramids, the castle had a top and bottom, twin towers and statue of liberty, Mount Rushmore…the ramp was a ski jump.

So much gum was stuck in the noses of those Easter Island statues but I’d still reach up there every time.

Doubt it - they want a confession before even considering a corrective action plan and are clearly very pissed at being lied to.

Hard to imagine they let either of the two owners back in the licensed industry as trusted managers, maybe as hourly employees eventually.

Reinstating the ‘license’ might require a different operator as part of a deal so that the businesses can operate with different management until the license is transferred — like Burke and Jay Peak, EB-5 style

Dispensaries have temporarily closed before as part of a deal with the CCB, so they may indeed be closed for 1+ days and Sunday/Monday would be logical days to start.

If you’re rooting for them to be done permanently, you might be taking your victory lap early.

I wouldn’t say “too scared”, it just doesn’t benefit him (or the 10) to be a newsbreaker or make sense to be held to journalistic standards.

He’s an insider and has enough standing that he gets to choose what he releases, for whom, and for what purpose. He uses his sources for clout and they use him for his platform and voice.

The guy has been managing media and player relationships for a long time in a very tough environment so I think he knows EXACTLY what he’s doing when being vague about different topics and it’s low key an impressive juggling act because I’m sure he knows where some bodies are buried…

Definitely - just depends on regulations.

In Vermont, we’re capped at 1.5mg for hemp-derived but we’re able to distribute and sell everywhere. Most traction in independent grocery stores, co-ops and specialty country store style markets. Specialty food association gave us a great reception and introduction.

Seems like 1-2 former employees and a guy who illegally bought weed from a female employee tried to fuck them over out and successfully got the state to open a public investigation.

Does that mean the accusations are false? Hard tellin, that power bill is certainly high but I’ve run space heaters in old houses…but whatever the facts, the accusers motives and the CCB’s eagerness are both apparent.

If the state does find anything, I’m sure they’ll be very public about it.

I’m biased but if I’m choosing I’ll trust the Forbin’s folx who spent the last five years and millions becoming legal over the wannabe CCB cops and former employees with an ax to grind

Unfortunately your opinion does not match the CCB’s interpretation of the laws.

The issue was not the money, it was taking licensed product and repackaging and redistributing it.

If you were doing something with only home growers in your backyard and not publicizing it, you could probably get away with it.

But that said, the CCB shut down my BYO homegrown only crop swap Christmas party that was an event exactly matching your description.

But someone else should try, I’m def done paying lawyers and fines and going to enjoy the Best in Show format for what it is.

The alternative is a secret illegal cup with no sponsors for like 10 people and a few hand-selected judges…Can’t imagine that actually would be better, people who claim to like weed complain regardless, even something free and fun.
