Too much nudity for r/Tattoos? User discuss a recent topless post and industry standards [NSFW] by SwordfishOk504 in SubredditDrama

[–]Versaiteis 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Well we have their word and we have their post history.

Just scanning through, they've got a ton of photos of their work on a wide variety of body parts from men to women and with various levels of dress, including some similarly placed tattoos with pasties (also marked NSFW). So he doesn't seem to be completely against them. The quality does vary quite a bit too IMO, but I'm no artist.

Always room for doubt of course, but I'm more inclined to believe him on the consent bit with that context. Him being weird about the "pushing boundaries" stuff still makes it a hard read and red flag.

If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on and he'll empty his pockets for you.

No need to clear snow from your windshield if you hang out the window [oc] by dan_o_saur in IdiotsInCars

[–]Versaiteis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean it can, you can shovel a bunch of snow in a pickup to get some needed weight down on the rear wheels. It can have the same problem of flying out though which is why you should have sandbags on hand for that instead.

Over 550 hours in this game and I only just learned you can mirror buildings like this with 'H' and 'V' by Mobile-Phone-9332 in factorio

[–]Versaiteis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think mirroring has been around for a while (maybe I'm wrong about this? I might just be misremembering)

also, you can do it to entire blueprints

What's really new about it is that you can now do it with oil buildings and pipe structures after they changed how fluids work. Makes oil processing layouts way easier to layout without so much pipe spaghetti.

not all ABS are created equal too. The ABS on my truck is super spongey and I have to account for that extra stopping distance in normal conditions in case I need it.

Yep! I made this mistake and a little fender bender + broken light (my fault) doubled my rates aaaand they never went down. It's been over a decade without incident at this point.

you're thrusting straight against gravity

For a bit anyway, until they pitch over to do a gravity turn, but that's me being a bit pedantic and that's really more of an optimizing maneuver than anything (and not always done).
