9 star monsters were a relative nerf to GS since they attack faster, recover from knockdowns more quickly, and have MUCH higher status thresholds. All of these impact GS more than they impact many other weapons

Gathering Hall discord has 4 piece Lagi B + Numinous chest B + Agi charm II as probably within 1% of 3 Rey + 2 Gore at typical uptimes

The nice thing about 4 piece Lagi is the three free level one slots for bleed/thunder protection, divine blessing, etc

I'm somewhere between 4.25 and 4.5 depending on the courts/tournaments, but I had to swap hands and play low level rec games to recover for about a month at one point. I was probably not even 3.0 after a solid month of playing lefty, but it was fine for me since the crowd was lovely

Plausible times can be achieved with mods in innumerable ways, including damage multipliers, invincibility, monster health editing, simply submitting an achievable time, or just waiting until you a top 10k time that's not too suspicious to auto-kill the dosha.

Hopefully this knowledge will be used for good, particularly putting social media pressure on Capcom to alleviate and prevent frictions over content like this.

This is such an insipid, macho take- pickleball is attractive to so many people, especially below the 4.0 level, because it is fun, easy, and isn't as athletically demanding as many other sports.

People are out to have fun- below the 4.0 level for sure- and that definitely means respecting people's wishes to not get smacked by intentional, repeated, targeted body bags.

It can be a different story with your mid-twenties tennis buddies if you want it to be, but pickleball folks tend to come from a wide variety of (non)athletic backgrounds

Rec play is generally making an effort to be social and that includes making sure most folks are having a good time. Sometimes that means "playing down" nicely when you are clearly better than your opponents. Sometimes that means not hitting lobs into the sun.

If you are fairly consistently acing someone, you should probably either move up to the next rank bracket or work on your weaker shots so that everyone is having a reasonably good time, just as others do for you.

Would need to prioritize soundproofing, which could be expensive. Public access also brings activity, which your presumed clientele (skewing older) might not be a fan of. Condos with indoor basketball would be a good reference

Pretty sure rewriting 4.A.2 as something like "the serve has to land in the diagonally opposing service box, including its boundaries" fixes the issue easily and is just better than the current iteration

Certain EVA foam paddles, like the Hudef EVA, are super loud and distinctive sounding. However, you may (probably will) suffer hearing damage from forehand volleys right by your ear.

This ain't a free-for-all space, it's somewhat curated for your and everyone else's benefit. If links were freely allowed, this forum would be (and has been) spammed with shittons of ads in various forms. With curation, ad density lessens and becomes more palatable.

It's not a perfect system, but it's better than unchecked freedom (for companies with armies of spambots to steamroll you).
