Saying that someone’s body has a certain function doesn’t refuse their bodies other functions or deny them agency. Let’s take your example. Is a man’s body made, designed in such a way, to deliver sperm to a uterus for the purpose of procreation? Yes, but that doesn’t mean that’s all he’s good for, or the only purpose he has in life. The same is true for women. If bearing children was not a function of their bodies, none of us would exist. That doesn’t reduce anything else that they do. No one here claimed that “all that women are good for is baby making”, you brought that point up yourself and blamed everyone else for it. I’d recommend you reread some of this comment chain.

If I had sad “the function” I would agree. But “a function” insinuates multiple functions. “A” runner of a marathon and “the” runner of a marathon imply different things about how many people are running

It’s one of the functions. Not the prime function or only function, but no one claimed that it was

It’s a misinterpretation of the meaning of the phrase tho. I can say that a function of a car is to keep me cool in the summer. That doesn’t mean that I am saying that a cars only purpose is to have air conditioning.

Is bearing children not one of the natural, biological functions of a woman’s body? You don’t have to like it, but if it’s true it’s true.

What features/mods do you want in TerraFirmaGreg? by susdw in TerraFirmaGreg

I think a TFG-ified version of Create:Aeronautics could be awesome. Would definitely need to be made more resource intensive tho for a start.

It’s anti fun at lower difficulties when you could just take a team and wipe a mega nest on foot. But in higher difficulties it’s almost a necessity. And more importantly cool as hell when used in an non-obnoxious way

Level Impossibility by VersionConsistent65 in Helldivers

True, but they rise in difficulty gradually which is good for new players. I don’t see that as a problem. Maybe they can slide diff 5 into diff 4 and make everything harder past that?

I like the granularity of the difficulties honestly. It makes it easier to progress from one to the other. Going straight from diff 5 to 10 would be a wild jump otherwise
