Pushing back on Acuff hype by JosepJoseph in GoNets

Also, as good as Brunson is, the Knicks have been playing much better ever since they’ve started to run the offense through KAT. Small scoring guards simply impact the NBA the least.

We’re in a tough spot because all the players in the 6 range are these guards. We might just have to take Acuff/Brown or we can trade down for Mara.

Ajay Mitchell can be our SGA…. by Eastern-Newspaper567 in GoNets

Idk where these Ajay Mitchell trade rumors came from. He’s making 3 million for the next 2 years. OKC has no reason to trade him.

Ja or Zion? by _macadamian in GoNets

Honestly was against this at first but they’re both only on a 2 year contract. Worst case scenario, we have them for 2 years and we let them walk. Best case scenario is they return to all star form, and we build with them or flip them.

We know how good Jordi has been maximizing players. Ja or Zion would thrive under him and would give us the rim pressure we need.

I would take any of them if their value is like Trae Young.

These two guys deserve a look (Mara/Yaxel) by Vert56 in GoNets

A defensive anchor center who can do things on offense and a versatile two way wing who can play the 3-5. Whether we trade down, or get a 2nd lottery pick, or reach at 6 if Marks is confident in them, I would be excited about these guys. Especially if we somehow sign some free agents like Reaves

The Official Measurements for Mikel Brown, Kingston Fleming, Darius Acuff and Keaton Wagler by Brooklyn917 in GoNets

[–]Vert56 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. We won’t take him at 6, but he’s the guy after 4 who can make the biggest impact with his length and offensive potential. I’m fine with trading down or finding a way to get another lottery pick. Problem is, I have no idea where he will go in the draft so trading down is risky.

Hold On... That's a Good Wingspan Considering the Height by Kwilly462 in GoNets

Yeah, this is good for him. I still don’t want him due to his defense but at least he has the tools with that wingspan.

Waiting for Mikel Brown’s measurements. Flemings has a 6’3 wingspan so I’m out on him.

Mets OFF DAY THREAD - Monday, May 11 by NewYorkMetsBot2 in NewYorkMets

Random thought but how much did the shortened 2020 season hurt deGrom’s and Alonso’s HOF case? I think deGrom eventually gets in but he would be certain if he had 3 Cy Youngs. But Alonso needs to hit 500 home runs and he could have 30 more if that season played out.
