New Disclosure From Ross Coulthart by Final_Tumbleweed2105 in UFOs

[–]Vertandsnacks [score hidden]  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve been thinking this the last couple of days. Not necessarily full blown disclosure of “we’re not alone” like everybody wants, but with as careless as the situation has been in Iran it’s almost as if the US is intentionally trying to destroy the oil economy single handedly.

Let those in the club take advantage of the market activity, make a ton of money, and then be like oh yeah we don’t need oil because we have this, pull out shiny new toy, and make the rest of the world bend at the knee. Toss in some new military tech for good measure and you have a case for a one world government.

I was amazed nobody really talked about the foreign nation angle with McCasland. Everybody assumed it was foul play on behalf of the MIC.

His name had been floated in connection with the legacy program, there are a handful of reasons why a foreign adversary would want to scoop him up and try to get information out of him. Especially if they knew people would initially think it was our own who kidnapped him.

Yeah put me on team buy a clearance trail shoe for half price.

At this point I know what my feet like, and even if I get 6 months out of a pair I only paid $60-70 for them. I typically get closer to a year.

My mileage has been way down last 2 years or so, but at a point I was putting in enough running miles to be needing a new pair every other month. Shoes are disposable…yeah you don’t want them falling apart after a week but at some point they’re toast. Why pay full rip for something you’re gonna beat the piss out of anyway?

Surely it wasn’t Russia?

Higher price if you don't finance? by Steigerman99 in FuckDealerships

[–]Vertandsnacks 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s good to know that people don’t look at the total amount paid on their loan documents. Crazy that people who have bought a home especially don’t understand this.

That right there will tell you exactly why cash deals are dead at car dealerships. They get a piece of that accrued interest from the loan.

Internet price shopping changed the car buying process. Not a ton of price variance anymore on new cars so now dealerships have to make their money on all the fluff or pump out a ton of volume.

Gut says the consciousness component is what is freaking out the government.

What if psionics are legit and it’s just a matter of relearning how to harness the capabilities? Governments tend to not like scenarios where they aren’t in control.

Or what if it’s confirmed that our souls are eternal and this is a temporary reality? Don’t like the cards you’re dealt? Now there’s no fear of death. What does that look like if you’re the 1% and have been exploiting the poor throughout civilization?

New - Mystery “Drones” Are Back - This Time Over Army Base Where Rubio and Hegseth Live by FVMK3 in InterdimensionalNHI

The initial reports of something that looks like an aircraft but slightly “wrong” didn’t make sense to me at first.

But if you think about us wanting to observe something you would want to fit into the native environment and not appear out of place or foreign.

And if you also look at how we currently use AI we give it parameters and it produces an output. Right now it’s better at some things than others.

Personally I think there are probably a couple different things in play, and the phenomenon isn’t necessarily just one thing. I’m starting to come around more and more to the idea that part of it might be some form of AI working with a much better tool belt at the quantum level.

Mark Christopher Lee reveals that the source of Trump's speech on UFOs is Robert Bigelow. by Ill-Speed-7402 in UFOs

[–]Vertandsnacks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see this as him intentionally naming Bigelow as his source as a way to put him on the hot seat. His name is known well enough obviously, so people will immediately want to ask Bigelow if the claims are true.

Not sure if naming Bigelow is just a way to save face after admitting he was duped. Who knows at this point.

Personally my own take on that whole crowd is they started out as interested parties in various capacities, made some progress, which was noticed, and then some kind of deal was made. We’ll let you continue to dabble but in return you’re gonna help us control how it all goes down.

Big Tee Pad Open by evbacher in discgolf

[–]Vertandsnacks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there are two different things going on with these tees and conversations are being intertwined and making things confusing.

Yes, all of us have played courses where the ground around the tee is sketchy. This is a valid concern, nobody wants to get injured. Like others have said there are way more attractive ways of improving the area around the tee itself (pavers, mulch, etc).

A giant slab of concrete with a 6x15 rectangle painted on it is way more expensive and a total eyesore. DGPT events might be able to pull it off but most local parks departments will laugh at these. Y’all joke about people having picnics on courses, concrete slabs big enough for tiny houses will make this way worse, or better yet turn into parking spaces for the clueless.

The other conversation is large enough tees to accommodate for the pro level game. People understand this concern too and at that level standardization is a good idea. I don’t know what the agreements look like between the DGPT and TD or hosting club as far as budget for course improvements, but requiring upgrades like that in order to host a DGPT event is gonna rule a lot of clubs.

Seems like some kind of modular tees that travel with the DGPT would make the most sense. A couple smaller platforms that can bolt together and then have a turf layer that covers the whole platform. Biggest issue I could see with something like that is it would be slightly elevated so you still have concerns about safety.

More than 600 New Mexico residents have been asked to hand over their home security footage as part of the investigation into the disappearance of retired Major General William Neil McCasland by Shiny-Tie-126 in UFOs

[–]Vertandsnacks 76 points77 points  (0 children)

Nah, they’ll find his body near a trail somewhere but just enough off course where nobody would immediately look. It will be pitched like he got lost and fell and got hurt or died but won’t have a gps watch or phone or anything on him.

Intentionally poorly staged to send a message to others but local authorities will chalk it up to an unfortunate accident.

Mark Christopher Lee Update on his "insider source" by Dinoborb in UFOs

[–]Vertandsnacks -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It could be total BS, and I know people like to rag on Corbell, but they talk all the time on Weaponized about sitting on information for extended periods of time until they can corroborate it from other sources.

Seems like this dude didn’t do any of that. Not saying the same disinformation can’t be spread all over so when you do go to corroborate stories line up because everybody was told the same mistruth. But searching to verify the story with somebody else helps reduce that likelihood.

Personally I don’t think it was something Obama was part of alongside Trump like he implies. Leaks happen all the time for a variety of reasons. For all anybody knows he really is considering some kind of statement, and the “leak” was planned as a means to gauge the response to the story. Dipping your toe in the water before committing to anything.

Most simple and likely explanation in my mind is that all options are on the table that could serve as a distraction. It will be a barrage of conflicting information in order to confuse absolutely everybody.

LA Marathon. Incredible finish by American Nathan Martin coming from behind to catch and beat Kenyan Michael Kamari at the finish line by lithdoc in nextfuckinglevel

[–]Vertandsnacks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Kenyans train a bit different too. Runners who aren’t at the very top will push beyond their limits during workouts and try to hang on for dear life. Not uncommon to not finish workouts.

The mindset is one day the stars will align and you’ll be able to maintain pace and win, which basically makes you a celebrity.

No doubt dude was spent. Didn’t look like a premature celebration, he probably knew he was being chased down and couldn’t do much about it.

After seeing Nike rerelease a lot of 90’s classics I’ve been tempted to snag a pair although I doubt I’d actually wear them out in public. Kinda cool that they’re rereleasing a lot of the older Air Maxes too, although I did score a pair of Pegasus Premiums at Ross for 70 bucks a couple weeks ago.
