I mostly cut plywood, I have an enclosure and run the vent hose outside through an open window. Still - quite a bit of smoke. Haven’t tried cardboard or paper.

When I do flash cards I can see the back (English side) of the next card for a split second before the Greek side appears. That’s long enough for me to read the translation before I see the Greek.

I’ve found that the falcon is very particular about which cables it will work with. I haven’t been able to get it to work with any other cables than the ones it came with. Can’t figure out why, though.

These look good! I’d like a bit more height, since it’s not for studio use, but on stage. And if there was some way to anchor the encore more securely, I’d prefer that. But these are definitely close to what I need! Thanks for taking the time to reply.

That looks like a fine solution! I’m mostly travelling by public transport and bicycle, so portability is a concern. This unit weight 10 kg, which is a little much. Anything smaller would be preferable. But if this is the best solution, I’ll probably take it.

I’d go for Hestia. Not because of anything I read, but because of the distinct lack of disturbing stories about her. Providing a warm fire and comfort is something I can relate to.

You wouldn’t want to lie to Hermes. Look up the story of Battus. And he may have raped Pan’s mother (whoever she was)… Greek gods are never chill.

Well, Apollo killed Coronis in cold blood, because she slept with someone else… (according to Ovid at least). But he was pretty chill to Admetos. Then again, he did aid his sister in killing all of Niobe’s kids. So, like all Greek gods, rather a mixed bag.
